I put these on my Meermin loafers and trusted they would work well. I was very pleased with the quality and ease of application. For this price point it can’t get much better honestly. I wanted to take them to a shoe cobbler and have them attach a rubber bottom but that would be much more expensive and time consuming. These shoes used to slipped pretty badly but now they grip greatly while protecting the sole. Also, you or others wont even know they’re on!

So, pretty much, I love this thing! It does exactly what I needed, with a nice balance between function nd price. What I liked is that it feels durable, and sticks on pretty good! Once I sanded my shoes a little to ensure a smooth surface and applied the protectors on the soles, the thing STICKS! I then followed the instructions and added the epoxy around the edges for a more secure fit, and after waiting over 8hrs (recommendation on packaging is 6hrs), I tried walking in my shoes, and they feel great! I bought these because my leather soles were REALLY slippery, and these fixed that. Only time will tell how well they last. My only complaints are that the instructions didn't tell or show me how much epoxy to use around the edges, so I just applied a relatively thin layer, and that the length seemed about an inch or two shorter than needed for my size 11.5/12 shoes. It would be helpful if the manufacturer added a visual tutorial to show you the recommended amount of epoxy, also maybe I'll get the L not the M next time I purchase because of the length/coverage issue to see if that helps. Other than that, these are definitely going on my buy list whenever I purchase a new pair of leather sole shoes!

These things aren't especially pretty, but they do exactly what they are designed to do. My husband has leather bedroom shoes that were super slippery. Without these, he wouldn't be able to walk in them.

Do not put any adhesive on your expensive shoes. I didn’t use this product but a similar one and it removed the stain on the bottom of the shoe. Amazon won’t let me write a review on the other product

The item was easy to apply and even came with a tube of adhesive for the edges to help avoid peeling due to moisture. It has solid traction and fit the sole as advertised.

Just got some brand new boots for line dancing, and I learned the hard way (with previous shoes that I had not put these sole protectors on first) how slippery and unsafe a bare boot sole can be. These are perfect. Added the right amount of grip and extend the life of the sole. Couldn’t be happier!

They seem to stick on the leather soles of my cowboy style boots really well and they really improve the grip a great deal. It seems like these will really help prolong the life of the soles, time will tell. I considered going with rubber sole savers that are applied using a cement compound but this seems to be a rather permanent change that would be a better option for a boot that already has a significantly worn sole already. These seem less invasive, offer better grip, and if they somehow fall off or begin to wear out, it seems like they could be replaced rather easy without modifying the look of the boot. This is like a moderate option between going bare or going all out and cementing on rubber sole savers. Be aware these also come with a small tube of cement like compound you can used for more water resistance but I did not use it. Hopefully I can report back later how these hold up over time.

Amazing product and a game changer! I exclusively wear Lucchese boots 80% of my day and if you know anything about boots, you know they aren’t cheap. I started wearing vibram soled boots for the grip and because during the summer the concrete gets to 130 degrees and tears the bottom of my boots up but the rubber bottom boots are so much heavier and was starting to hurt my knees. I’ve never considered sole protection before until now and I’ll be buying these for all of my boots moving forward and I have over 30 pair. Game changer! Thank you!
