butter LONDON Lippy Moisture Matte Lipstick

It's a lovely, opaque peach shade & very comfortable for a matte. The lipstick doesn't dry down like other matte lipstick, it stays emollient on the lips, but with a sort of powdery/fine grainy cream sort of texture. It stick around for about 4 hours before it starts to fade & dry down, if fades faster if eating & drinking. Very happy with this purchase!

Love the feel of this lipstick. I even love the weight and feel of the tube. I do have to put something with it to tone it down a little, because I'm very light, and I've been looking for something in a Nude that doesn't have too much white in it. So this one has no white, but it's a little too colorful for a nude on me.

I have very dry lips. I typically need to keep Aquaphor or some other type of heavy lip balm in order to keep them from peeling (auto-immune disease). I ordered this product because I had read the pigment didn't bleed or fade nearly as much as other Red lipsticks. I was not disappointed in the pigment. This goes on with very solid pigment in the first pass. The only reason I did not give it a five star is because it, unfortunately, did not last all day. My dry lips still needed quite a bit of moisture applied and that took away from the lipstick being able to stay on.The color is very bright red, which goes well with my fair skin and dark hair. I did not have problems with it getting on my teeth or feathering outside of my lip line.For a normal person, without the dry lip problem, I think this would probably be the best choice for a long wearing red lipstick.

When I first applied this lipstick, I was really happy. The true red color was what I wanted. However, after a few hours (without eating, drinking or doing anything that would affect the color) the color had changed to rose.....a pretty rose color, but not what I expected. Given the price, I am returning this because it is not what I had hoped for. The color stays on which is good. I just wish it didn't change so dramatically throughout the day.

I chose this product hoping it wouldn't leave marks when I kiss my husband. He won't kiss me when I wear lipstick! For the most part it does that, but I was disappointed it doesn't last as long. I suppose that is to be expected as it is not a stain. Regardless, I enjoy the smoothness of its consistency and the richness of the color. If you spend the money on Butter products and understand the limitations of specific products, you won't be disappointed. These products are worth the money!

I have a hard time with lipstick not lasting more than a few hours at a time. Still strong after lunch time? Forget it! However, this lipstick is better and more comfortable to wear than any lipstick I have tried. It lasts well into the afternoon before showing any signs of fading, and goes on evenly without smudging or smearing. Great matte texture to it as well, but be warned that the matte finish is not as flattering and can feel very dry on chapped lips. Overall very pleased! Worth the purchase!
