Mid-20th Century table radio replica
Along with the feel of a table radio from the mid-20th century, you also get good AM/FM/shortwave reception plus the bonus of being able to use Bluetooth and SD/USB storage to play audio. FM and shortwave both come in very well, with sensitive and selective reception. The dial comes alive not only with the warm glow of this radio’s dial light but a wide selection of stations. AM reception is not quite as good as FM and shortwave. I think this radio may be calibrated for 9 kHz AM spacing, not 10 kHz as we have in the United States. This isn’t as big a problem as it sounds like it would be; you can still get a good selection of AM stations, but you do notice that some of these are stronger and louder than others. For example, 720 kHz is an active broadcast frequency on both 9 kHz and 10 kHz spacing plans. I notice that this station comes in stronger than, say, 650 kHz, which is only an active frequency with 10 kHz AM spacing. Again, not a huge deal because you still get the other stations, but you just have to turn the radio up a little bit because they’re quieter. The Bluetooth and USB/SD card functionality both work fine. The radio pairs up quickly with my phone and plays audio, and it recognized the USB device I used with no problem. The audio quality has a good balance of bass and treble with a hint of that “warm” sound old radios used to have. There’s also a fair amount of power behind the sound so you can play this radio loudly enough to hear it in a large room or outdoors. Here is the only concern I have with this radio. I do not like that it has a “non-replaceable” battery. This radio is too nice to have it quit working one day when the internal battery stops holding a charge. If the owner is careful not to overcharge the battery and not to leave it completely discharged for a long period of time, the battery would probably last for several years. But still, the rechargeable battery should be in a battery holder behind a regular battery door so the user can replace it if that ever becomes necessary. I did take the back off of the radio and I noticed that it is an 18650 battery inside - a widely available battery - but they have wired it in directly. It could be replaced by someone with some tools and a small amount of experience working on such things, but this should not be necessary to replace a battery. Other than that one thing, there’s nothing here not to like. It’s nice to have a traditionally styled radio that also can play modern forms of media such as audio files from USB and SD storage devices. And the price is certainly more than fair for an audio device that works well and sounds good.

Highly recommend
Love it! Great sound, love the vintage look, it's nice & compact, and the battery apparently lasts a long time! However; it does take a very long time to charge. Price was great & had it in two days. I love jammin' to my Oldies playlist on it.

Nice Radio
I bought 2 Prunus radios; this model and the larger vintage style. I needed a bluetooth speaker in my shop to listen to music, after I managed to bounce my current speaker a couple of times on the concrete floor. It gives me the advantage of just playing the radio if I wish. The red color is candy apple red. I definitely wanted a light up dial. I love the vintage look and function, paired with modern functionality. It paired right up to my phone.

Surprised by this little gem!
I was looking for a speaker to take with me when I travel so that I can play my Old Time Radio programs on something other than ear buds in the hotel or when I'm camping and when I saw this, I immediately liked the retro look. I was looking for a stand alone speaker but when I saw that this had blue tooth, USB AND micro sd card abilities, I thought I'd give it a try and look at the radio part as a bonus. It came already charged and, just turning on the radio, I was surprised by the reception and tone/volume. I played around with it a bit and used the blue tooth feature with my phone and the USB feature with my MP3 player and was more than satisfied with the results. As far as the radio is concerned, all of the AM and FM stations in range came through loud and clear and I even got reception on the Shortwave band! It comes with a USB cord for charging and a cord to plug into an mp3 player or other audio device. I am completely satisfied with this fun/functional little radio and would recommend it to anyone looking for a small portable radio/speaker.

10/10 for radio listeners who want portable wireless radio
Gave as a gift to someone who loves to listen to the radio. It plays the music from the radio very clearly and pretty loud. Connecting it to bluetooth - the music was less clear, you are better off buying a Bluetooth speaker. But for the radio this thing is a 10/10. It is a very beautiful red and the light on the station tuner is a lovely touch that makes ease of use very easy. Definitely a great value for the money, and very portable.

Good Little Radio
It seems to have trouble picking up the AM channels. I made the mistake of picking it up by the antenna which immediately popped off, so the physical quality isn't great. The volume control is extremely sensitive, a small adjustment will send the volume to an extremely loud level. However, once the volume is at an appropriate level, it's a nice little radio. FM channels come in good with the ability to make small adjustments on the manual tuner. Bluetooth worked well. Holds a good charge, as I was able to use it for a couple hours each day while working, and it only needed to be charged once a week. Was unable to get an FM signal while charging.

Way better than my low expectations!
Getting some things on amazon seems like it's been hit or miss, quality-wise, these days. But...color me impressed. I am your typical Amazon shopper who gets a couple packages a week because she has a shopping addiction, and never really rates/reviews when she is happy with a product, and is too lazy to rate when something is crappy. However, this little radio/Bluetooth speaker is...perfect! (For me, anyways!) It is so super friggin' compact and cute, with a very cool vintage feel to it. Found all my usual radio stations pretty easily, and I like that the tuner knob isn't so easily turned, if that makes sense. This way, you won't find yourself going back and forth, having over-/undershot the station you were aiming for, as you might with a tuner that's too sensitive. Love that the radio station numbers are backlit - I remember how annoying it would be to try and see the numbers in a dimly lit room back in the day - so that was a nice touch. The video attached to this review shows the different input options provided, along with the sound quality of some Spotify music via Bluetooth. I tried to move away and towards it to give you a better feel for the loudness. The Bluetooth itself connected effortlessly. The only con I have is that the volume when on Bluetooth mode didn't go as high as I would have liked. Might have just been the songs I picked, idk. But for my purposes, of just throwing some music on while I am wash the dishes (loudly due to my clumsiness lol), the speaker was loud enough to hear over the clanging of pots and pans and running water, regardless of if it was in radio or Bluetooth mode. Another thing to note is that the radio seemed to be able to get VERY loud in comparison, and VERY quickly...and in a way that *might* make you jump out of your skin and wake up the sleeping cat next to you, especially if you switch from Bluetooth to the radio without lowering the volume first...(Ask me how I know...lmao). Came with an aux cord and charging wire with a usb-a end to plug into an appropriate charger. Came with some charge so I haven't tried charging it yet. It was well packaged and also included a helpful instruction manual. Conclusion: I love it. It's classy, cute, and a perfect gift for the casual music lover in your life. (Aka not someone who scrutinizes and critiques bass/frequencies/pitch/etc for fun) For the average Joe, it's perfectly better than you'd acceptable from Amazon for this price point! I might gift some for bridesmaids' presents! :)
