Been using these hot packs for years and the durability is great but have started to last a little less then before

I followed the instructions and then when it was fully soaked I heated it in a pan in the oven with water in several different ways. It said it just needed to be heated to 160 degrees for 20 minutes, but I poured very hot water over it, put it in the oven at 200 degrees and kept it there for an hour or two, and it still did not hold the heat for more than 5 to 10 minutes.

This is a great product. After you boil it in water and place it in a pouch it soothes and relaxes back muscles.. It's mostly used at PT.

Its construction is so rugged it appears military grade and it feels & weighs like it is full of sand.I cools down faster than expected/advertised and takes a long time to get ready (2hrs for first use 15-30 minutes thereafter).It seems as if it's designed for commercial use in Physical Therapy clinics where they keep multiple packs on the ready.

As described. Follow instructions on the first use, they take a while to soak up and expand to full potential.

Great moist heat pack. Just put it in a pot of water, boil until a thermometer reachers 150, remove, wrap in a towel and there you have it. Feels great when I need some warmth on my back.
