I have severe shakes, so this is a great item. Potatoes does in a jiff, no mess to speak of, works a treat. Loks and feels fragile, but it does the job. For those who hate peeling spuds, this is a must have. In fact it is Yabbadabba doo! Wilma.

I have had three of these over the last few years, the first one was great but wore out, the second one kept ejecting the blade and did not stop spinning when the blade reached the bottom; this one works really well, you still have to manually remove the very top and bottom peel but the ridges left on the potato make for a crispy roast potato. I am optimistic this will last well.

Read a lot of the reviews good and bad - was in 2 minds to buy given all the negatives but thought it would be fun to showcase at our family Christmas party. It's light in weight, a bit noisy, a bit flimsy but holds together without any bits falling off (yet) and most importantly it works. I hate peeling potatoes - especially the smaller ones - and, while this device may not be any quicker overall if you're a relatively fast peeler, if you work efficiently you can be topping and tailing the first spud while the next is being peeled. Overall - great and fun to watch it do its thing. :-)

Thought this would be great, save some time, easy for kids to use and just sorta funny…However…In reality, although it did somewhat peel an apple, albeit missing the top and bottom and peeling unevenly deep - Still technically a bit peeled….It could even peel the tinder part of a potato or anything like that.Maybe it would do like a round tomato well ? I didn’t try it…Looks and feels cheap and was fun for 2 minutes just from the curiosity, I’ve sent mine back - Waste of money….If you want something to actually automatically peel your apples and potatoes, this isn’t it…

At last I no longer have to stand and peel potatoes and risk cutting myself. This automatic peeler is just perfect. Thanks.

Great for fancy salads with carrot, cucumber etc. peels spuds and makes great potato string. Make like spaghetti with zucchini instead of pasta.

A good little peeler but struggles on anything not perfectly even, firm and round. The 3 pin plug adapter is very flimsy, one of the plastic pins came away so I now can't use the adapter. I've resorted to batteries however they are very difficult to put in. I got the peeler as I struggle with my hands so forcing batteries into the compartment hasn't been easy.I think I would have a look for another brand to see if it's any better.

I live in Australia and I was sent this item with a UK plug adapter…. Go figure.The frame of this item is a very flimsy plastic and the blade did not safely sit properly. I wouldn’t buy this product. And the supplier did not have any information as to where the product actually comes from….
