can't say enough good about these beautiful ukuleles
I purchased 2 of these pretty ukuleles. They arrived quickly and in good shape. I wanted to paint the tops and personalize them to make them more unique. They worked perfectly for this and I am happy with the results. The ukuleles themselves are beautifully made, I changed the strings to martins, I love the warm and mellow sound they produce. I have 2 other tenors, but I find this uke the most comfortable and enjoyable to play. The extras are great, the case much better than average, the strap is nice, the cleaning cloth appreciated, the tuner and extra strings are a plus. The action is perfect on the first frets but they do get higher further down the neck. No fret buzz or sharp fret ends. I am extremely happy with this purchase . Thank you for a great package at a great price. Makes a nice gift.

Stunning Ukulele and Great Sound
This ukulele is absolutely gorgeous. I had bought a soprano for $30-40 as my first uke and wanted a tenor and something a little nicer. This has that gooorgeous semi-matte finish and is made so beautifully. I had gone to Guitar Center to look at ukes and they didn’t have a great selection. This ukulele feels and looks like a tiny version of one of the really nice acoustic guitars you’d find in the acoustic room at Guitar Center. I was hesitant to spend more than $60 on a ukulele but I’m SO glad I did. This is worth every penny. It’s easy to play and easy on the fingers - not much pressure needed. I’m obsessed with it!

Good value and a nice sound
The price is very nice, especially for an ukulele that sounds good and is built with beautiful materials. My instrument had some marring on the top from foreign matter, which I removed by buffing with a damp cloth. The action was high and after adjustment, it plays very well. The included gig bag, extra strings and polishing cloth are a bonus. This instrument sounds as good as a normal profile ukulele and I would recommend it.

Fun little Uke!
I was looking for Tenor Uke for my fat stubby fingers and this guy delivered! The sound is great, the wood is lovely (the back oh! the back), and the cutaway adorable. I’m very much an amateur but have been playing strings for 34 years and this cutie pie does NOT disappoint. The appointments are nice, the case is snug and terrific. The strap is cute but the metal buckle is a throw away for me— and it has been thrown away. But the tuner? The tuner has seen my bass, guitar, and violin in addition to my uke. Awesome little accessory! All in all I’m very happy with the purchase. And glad to buy from the Amazon Warehouse and ‘give a good a second chance’ or whatever their slogan is.

Phenomenal Value on a conveniently-sized Instrument!
These are a fantastic value. They sound great, loud, and clear. They are a near-identical clone of what used to be a slimline travel tenor cutaway branded by Kala. These sold for a few hundred dollars. I have both and with the exception of the bridge and some cosmetic fit and finish, they are the same. These things sound great and play great. The gig bag is really nice, way better than average. The strap is decent, it comes with a spare set of strings, and the tuner works fine. The accessories alone would cost you several tens of dollars to get.I'd rather the traditional tie-on bridge than this knot-and-slot bridge, but that is a minor gripe for something so inexpensive for the great value you get. I modified mine a bit for low G.

Started buzzing!
I like the size. And for a day, was loving it. But then it started buzzing when I play. It's not all the time, half a song will be ok, then it starts buzzing. I don't know how to fix this. So I only use for quick practice by myself. I really wanted to Love it. It is a lovely instrument.

Great uke but wrong model in package, you get walnut instead of deadwood
Hricane's 27 inch cutaway slim is a great ukulele, sounds sweet, easy to finger, good fit and finish. As of July 2019 they ship you walnut instead of deadwood due to what seems to be a packaging label error. So you get a less expensive uke compared to what you ordered. Getting order replaced does not correct this - maybe when they get correctly labeled inventory this will be different.Addendum - I kept the second shipment and am glad I did as it has grown on me and is a great practice instrument. As the price is much lower than the $136 I paid, this uke is an even better value and I highly recommend it.

Amazing 'ukulele!
Amazing craftsmanship and sound quality. I am new to the 'ukulele but I have experience with guitars. This is made with attention to fit, finish and detail well beyond the cost of the instrument. The tone is exceptionally rich and full for the price point and being so thin. This is a very good instrument for new players and is very highly recommended. Awesome motivation comes from playing such a well crafted 'ukulele with excellent sound making for a fun experience.

Wonderful instrument
Great ukelele. It has 2 small dents on the front, or it would have been 5 stars. And I still have to retune it after every use, but only slighty. Overall a beautiful instrument and I love the slim design.

Fantastic travel Uke.
Love the wood grain and the solid sound I get in a travel Uke.

Quality and value for your dollar
Buying this uke on a whim, the pleasant surprise with this instruments voice, being a travel uke and thin bodied, you would be thinking compromise...Well for $105ish what do you get ??Good intonation, a loud and bright enough voice and a nice action,The build looks good using a nice selection of timber, this light weight instrument has no sharp edges from frets or else where and feels nice in hand , feels a little narrow at the nut but will need to measure to check thisThe finish looks un-coated OR it's a very flat or mat finished, the fingered board looks really dry but a coat of oil will remedy thisThe tuning pegs are unbranded and work fine, smooth and accurateAs a budget uke, this really ticks most boxes, I'll be taking time to try different strings just to see how her voice respondsA good buy alround
