Freezable Dog Bowl - Dog Dish Water Cooler for Pets

It does what it’s made for…keeps the water cold for a long time. It is a large bowl so it does take up space in your freezer, which might be an issue if your freezer is always packed full like mine. The space for the water is small. Large bowl but small capacity for water. It’s rather shallow. I have a little dog so it works fine for her. If you have a big dog that you leave outside, I would have an additional water source. Just doesn’t hold a lot of water, in my opinion.

This is a great item, well made, keeps water very cool on hundred plus degree days here in Texas. It fits easily into a bag in the refrigerator. Price was right, and I don't have to worry about my dogs being caught outside in the heat with no water. Or at least that's what I thought because for some reason my dogs will not drink the water from this bowl! I don't know if they just prefer not to drink outside, or they're not outside long enough to get thirsty enough, but I keep putting it out there and it keeps being full every single day. I don't plan to lock the dogs outside in the heat to see if they get desperate enough to drink from it but I feel confident that at least the water will be cool if they ever decide they want to drink from this bowl!

I am changing the review from 4 to 5 stars because it is so good at keeping water cold. I live in Texas where the temp has been 103-109 for weeks. I put the bowl full of water plus a few ice cubes on a covered porch at 5 pm and 106 degrees. Several hours later outside temp was still over 100 and the water was still so cold it "hurt" the finger I stuck in to test. That's a WOW!Original review - Water stays cool for hours in 100+ degree weather and it’s heavy enough that it won’t blow away. It fits pretty easily in the freezer too. The only negative for me is that it is advertised to hold 16 ounces but mine only holds 12 which is small for most dogs. I use mine for cats so the size is good.

I did not get 5* because it's hardly fit in a freezer. We put usually in a fezerator. Water stay cool for a while

I got this for my diva dog who only likes cold water. Now I keep this indoors so I cannot comment on outside on hot days. I take it out of the freezer at 6AM and at 6PM it is still keeping water cold. I just rinse and dry it out at night, pop in freezer and ready for next morning. It is very heavy plastic, not filmsy. My dog loves it but it does only hold about 2 cups of water so may not be good for a bigger dog unless you want to keep refilling. Mine is 18 pounds.

Product bowl fill part was smaller then it looked. I also could not get the tab off to add water.

I freeze it overnight and put it out around 8am, and it's still cold when I get home around 7pm. It stood up to up to 98 degrees weather just fine so far.

My cat really likes super cold water and she also likes to lick condensation off stuff, so it suddenly occurred to me I should get one of these. Actually I have two now so I can switch them back and forth to keep her highness pleased. The condensation is great and my cat is enjoying her water more than ever. And she rejected all those cool running water cat bowl things. They were just not good enough.And just warning that you need to be committed to this because once you start supplying freezing cold icy water it is expected on a regular basis.

Our dog loves this dish. She goes to this dish more than any other dish we used before. Its a great purchase.

Too much condensation and bowl edge too rounded for cat

Returned item as recipient doesn't hold much water at all.

We found gelatinous beads all around the backyard and were wondering where they came from until we found what happened to the water bowl. We have an Australian Shepherd perhaps theyare geared more towards smaller breeds. Had to send it back for a refund.
