I bought this remote to use with a Sharp brand box tv at a yard sale that came with no remote. This comes with a huge list of codes for many tv brands and it was fairly easy to program. The first code I tried worked and the remote has held up well so far.

I bought this for my Sceptre tv and it works. Easy to setup as the instructions was straight to the point. The only downside is that it doesn’t comes with batteries.

Not much to say other than it works as designed. I found a 19" little flat screen t.v. on the side of the road for free that i decided to hang in my garage. The t.v. didnt have a remote w/ it so that is what I got this for. The setup was pretty quick and painless. Comes with an "auto" feature that will allow it to scan for the correct device code instead of typing one in (seeing that this tv i found wasnt listed in the code list this worked out perfectly). Scan took maybe 5 mins and remote was fully functional after that. $6 isnt a bad deal to spend on a free t.v.!

easiest remote to program. even if the codes don't work to program it's simple setup. only took a couple of minutes and was ready to go.

Initially the remote worked fine even though it was a little difficult to program. It quit working today and I can not get it to work again. I purchased two of these at the same time and the other is still working. I hope that the same thing does not happen with the other remote.After an inordinate amount of time and experimentation I was finally able to reprogram. I just do not understand why it quit working in the first place. I just hope that it will not happen again.

This was an Item that I origianally purchased for a friend and it did not work for him because of his t.v being so old so I did get i sort of weird with it and sold it to another friend and it worked for his guess...

Works great. AAA batteries not included. Using it on an Insignia TV. No sleep timer button, but you just don't see that very often anymore. Older people might not like having to use the shift function to use the "OK" button when switching inputs, but it doesn't bother me at all. Would buy again

Simple and works well. I did wear out my first one button on my first one but the volume button gets a lot of use and I had it for three or four years. Don't seem to have any code loss issues.
