Bought one initially for my Doberman to train him not to chase cars. Worked very well and the range was just what I needed. The audible beep or the vibration is usually enough to get his attention and break his concentration from a bad habit. This worked so well I bought two more for my other two dogs. The battery life is great and they have been very durable. The only issues seems to be when you hold the button to turn the collar off. It will sometimes pop on again. I usually just pess the button again several times in a rapid movement and then hold the button down as normal to turn it off. This seems to work. I think this issue may be due to some dirt lodging itself in the side crack of the button. But this will not deter me from buying more if I need more.

I purchased this for use with my Siberian husky and most other shock colors don’t work through that for this one on the other hand works perfectly is able to form a good contact and after using only once I no longer need to use anything other than sound for training purposes, the best part is, is that even in the small chance that my dog gets out of my yard or out of range for an audible sound I have been able to use this to get his attention from across a field and have them come back. I would definitely recommend this product and will probably be purchasing a few more very shortly for some of my other larger dogs.

Got this for my 8 month old Dogo Argentino, while the quality and batter life is amazing. The collar is way too long, with no place to tuck it in. My dog is a XL breed. Hes 100 lbs at 8 months and is expected to be 120 at full size. The collar after being closed has a long piece that just sticks out. It bothered him and he would keep shaking while it was on him, he shook so much the whole collar came off, I have a large property where he roams now we cant even find the collar as it fell off.

I'm not sure about this training collar. So far it has my dog running around in circles. It did work well to get him out from under the bed. However, when I use it for the "Come" command he gets too distracted and seems to forget what he is supposed to do. He used to obey the "lay down" and "Come" commands but when he hit the1 year mark, he has become rebellious which is why I was using it to remind him to come! However, if he doesn't come immediately and I use the beep or vibrate he stops and looks all over the upstairs to try to figure out where the beep or vibrate is coming from --- so he doesn't come. I'll try it for a few days and see what happens.Later review:We've had this collar for a couple of weeks now and it is working WONDERFULLY!! Took our Bailey (APBT/American Bulldog mix only one day to get used to it. We do not use the shock function, only the beep and vibrate functions. The beep usually causes him to stop barking. The vibrate is used when he is getting into places he shouldn't. We have to use it less and less. Some days only 2-3 times. I have only had to charge it twice since we got it. We are VERY pleased and recommend it highly.

Our dog would get on the scent of something and wander…he was a rescue, and we were told he knew about training collars. We’ve only used the beeping feature cuz he responds so well. Just having the collar on seems to relax him. We are over the moon (we haven’t even put the prongs on yet so can’t review those)

Can a remote be purchased separately? Ours is Mia! I think my special needs daughter may have tossed it out by accident

I have been thru 6 (YES!!! 6) different shock training collars in less than 4 months, and not a one lasted longer than a few days at the most....I came across this Upgraded Dog Training Collar, seen it had 5 stars (still hesitant), read the reviews, and decided to give it a try...I do NOT regret the purchase at all...this is the best collar I have purchased to date for my dog...it has the buckle closure, extra long strap to fit a tiny to jumbo size dog, it's simple to program, simple to use, and it is very durable...you definitely get the bang for your buck!!!! We have a Great Dane that occasionally has “selective hearing”, when she is focused on hunting. We don’t use the prongs but the tone is loud and works across 3 acres.

I love this collar! My dog responded immediately to the vibration. We use the tone to give a warning, then vibrate. I didn't even have to use the shock feature, since he responds well with the vibration on a 9 setting. Very impressed with the range and quality of this product. Highly recommend.

Je suis très déçu de l’article, la manette ne se recharge plus et Amazon ne veulent pas reprendre le PatPet et faire le retour au fournisseur et en plus ce dernier n’est pas garanti par le vendeur j’ai fait l’achat le 9 juillet et on le 24 août il y’a jute deux semaine de plus de leur 30 jours pour le retour. Je suis très déçu du service que Amazon donne…

I can't give it any more than 2 star. The shock does not work...I can't end it back because I don't have time to wait for another one that may or may not work.The vibration seems to be fine but yeah. Disappointing.

Collar was lost in a hour. My dog was outside in my yard. And when I let him in it was gone. We have a big yard so I cant find it anymore. I noticed that the collar itself was cheap plastic. I
