This works great and I'm impressed at the heavy metal lock mechanism. I have had others that are flimsy and if comb or pull the head too much the mannequin head would tilt. This thing is solid. It has such a large base that it hasn't really been much of an issue of tipping. Even if it was there is a hook that you could center a weight. I haven't had any problems. I love this thing

I was hesitant to buy this wig stand, as it is considerably more expensive than others sold on Amazon. I initially bought the Klvied Reinforced Wig Stand Tripod Mannequin Head Stand at half the price. While that wig stand tripod worked OK, it was not stable and would easily tip over. I should have aced my mo ey and just bought this stand to begin with. This stand seems very well made and high quality. It is considerably more stable than the Klvied wig stand, while still being very light. Each leg has several points of adjustment and nonskid pads to further provide stability. There is a small level on the tripod to make sure the legs are even, which is very helpful. My only minor complaint with this stand is the crank that allows you adjust the middle neck (where the mannequin head rests) feels very cheap when turning.

It’s pretty good, only concern i have is the stand not standing still when i try to do the wig it was moving a lot but its pretty good

The clamps all broke or either lost resistance greatly. Too expensive for that to happen, that’s why u chose it over others. I’ve had to replace it.
