Installed Easily, Battery Charge Capacity Just OK
The battery was well packaged. It was easy to install. Dell Latitude laptop booted and operated perfectly. After following package directions to discharge fully and immediately recharge (two times), the battery charge life is giving about 3-4 hours of operation to 20% remaining. Not as good as OEM, but half the price, and it is very difficult to find the OEM battery new anymore. I would recommend this battery.

I was worried, now I am not.
After installing this battery, my E5450 wouldn't boot up. Thought I got a bum battery. Put old battery back in, it still wouldn't boot up. Had to discharge the motherboard by holding the power button down with no battery and no plug for 20 seconds. Reinstall battery. (I actually had to do this about 5 times before it booted properly). It's a Dell.The battery works great so far!

After 30 days the battery doesn't holdcharge
The product fits will and worked. But after 34 days the battery only hold 4% battery. would not recommend.

I installed it!
I am a total novice, but was able to install and computer is working. Screen dims noticeably when you unplug the power cord however. It did not do that with the original Dell battery.

Excellent replacement for Dell Latitude E5550 battery
My original battery on my Dell Latitude E5550 was showing its age and not holding charge as well any more. I tried a spare Dell 62 Wh battery from an E5570, which fit and provided power, but was not recognized by the E5550 and did not charge. Based on that experience I was a little concerned about trying a non-Dell battery, but figured with Amazon's return option it was worth a shot. Glad I ordered this, no issues getting the E5550 to recognize this, and it works great! Right now it is telling me more than 5 hours of battery remaining - I am very happy with the performance and the price!

Old laptop. Glad I didn't have to pay OEM price.
Plug and play! What more could you ask for? Why pay OEM price for a computer that is at its "end of life"?
