clear coat used over Rustoleum tractor paint on '95 F250 repaint . works well no reactions with paint. I actually need to buy some more. sprayed well with drizzle D1 1.3 nozzle, easy mix, nice shine, good price

Usually use another brand of clear and bought this because I could get it quickly and cheaper for a small job. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this laid down and the amount of gloss. Used a quality paint gun with a dedicated clear coat tip.

Don't know about quality/ durability yet because I just painted the first parts with it, but I it apllies realy smothly with minimal orangepeel and it dries super fast to an awesome finish. Perfect for touch ups and blends.

Alright I'll begin with telling you who I am, I'm a professional automotive collision refinish tech, been in the business for 6 years now, I've sprayed all brands of solvents and clear coats, from urethane, single stage, to water based. So I know my way around, well I bought this clear coat because of the price to do little odds and ends at home, didn't quite trust it on a customer car. So that being said a bit over 2 years ago I fixed my sisters car at work with the materials there, high end Axalta paint the clear coat set up is $500 alone, I repaired her whole front end with that, both fenders, hood, and front bumper. The paint alone cost her $800, shop cost. Well exactly one year ago (my Google photos brought the memory up) my sister, being my sister damaged her front bumper and right fender again, and I fixed it at home, using the same Axalta base coat (leftover) and out of curiosity and being cheap lol this clear coat. Well first impression is that it's extremely thin, but I was able to hammer on 4 good coats, (can't do that with high end high solids clears as they solvent pop) second it is CRYSTAL CLEAR!! won't change the color AT ALL like other cheap clears with a yellowish tint. Third it buffs EASYYYYY. So that being said I wasn't sure how it would actually hold up in the elements, I've had bad experiences with other clears (Omni) that deteriorated and flaked after a year. Well it's been a year, I went over to look at her car after that memory reminder and jessuuuuuuuus it looks the SAME! still got the high gloss no shrinking no dying back and most of all it didn't deteriorate!! I'm impressed!! So here's a picture I took of her car yesterday when I looked at it. The bumper and fender was with this clear and the hood is with the $500 clear coat. As you can see it's IDENTICAL!

I thought i was taking a risk buying this clear coat for my diecast cars and i am glad i did... This stuff is great,clear,smooth and hardens like i never expected... do i recommend you buy this? absolutely!!!

I got two full coats on my van with this. It was easy to use and it worked really well. I did have compatibility issues with the primer because parts of the van were previously sprayed with something that seemed problematic, no matter what I tried. But hey...it's a 32 year old van and I love it so don't hold my inexperience against this product. I've actually come back to grab another can for my camper.
