Tiny Food Pieces: cheaply made small children can choke
Food pieces are extremely tiny. The real bad news is it’s made with cheap hard plastic that will shatter into small pieces. My kid took a “pretend “ bite and almost cut her lip when it cracked and shattered. It needs to be made out of softer material that won’t crack into pieces. Kids put things in their mouths a lot. The website description does not indicate “tiny pieces”, “choking hazard”, “hard breakable plastic if bitten”...that’s what kids do. All kids - they bite pretend foods. I would recommend next time for someone who has children to write the website description for toys especially the ones that include play food. Other than that unsafe features the whole concept is very cute. My children really enjoyed themselves until it became a hazard and a safety issue.

My kids love this set!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My kids love this camping set. It’s their favorite pretend play toy set now. They’ve been playing with it since the day we got it. Their favorites are the binoculars, light-up oil and light-up burner - they are well made. The tent is a pop-up so my kids can easily set it up if they want to play with it.

Most loved Christmas gift
Nothing on this set is especially noteworthy, but as a grouping, it has kept my 3 year old captivated. I think it's acceptably sturdy for the price. The watch and small flashlight (with compass) have batteries. You'll need (I think) double AAs for the lantern and camp stove. The only thing really off about this set is the weird "food" included. I tossed the hot dogs and vegetables. They're small and just didn't look safe. That leaves the weird red chunks that my 3 year old has simply identified as "meat." Overall, this is a bargain and it is a uniquely imaginative set.

Tent was good, other things really cheap---returned
I liked how the tent set up and collapsed easily. It was very small, which I wanted for my living room when my grandson comes over. All of the camping pieces seemed very cheap quality. I was unable to open the battery compartments on the items that needed batteries. Other pieces seemed like they would break immediately with use. They also seemed a little dangerous for a 2 year old, like they might break and injure someone.I returned this and spent the same money on a higher quality tent and gave up on the other camping utensils.

Thinking about getting a spare it is loved so much
My son loves to make tents in the house so we got this as a Christmas present and he plays with it all non-stop. We even put it on his toddler bed and put a pillow in the doorway and put pillows inside and he sleeps peacefully in it. He also loves carrying the working lantern around the house and pretends to cook with the extra toys. Such a great price!

Best gift ever!!
I bought this as a Xmas gift for my nephew who was 18mos at the time. The brother and his wife set the tent up in my nephew's playroom. They took away all the small pieces for now, so basically he only had the lantern. One of his favorite things to do is play hide and seek, he loves to hide. So that's what he did, he would hang out in his tent and say he was hiding. After Xmas, he stayed in there all day playing. Once it got dark, he was still in there playing with the lantern and his flashlight. Best present I've gotten him so far!!!

awesome accessories
3yo and 5yo love this. Love that the lantern has the glow of lantern with 2 AAs, the burner looks great w 2 AAs, the binoculars are collapsible, the whistle works and also functions as a compass and flash light. The tent closes with velcro which is easier for the kids. The other accessories are great two and you really get a play-camping experience.

Great for little campers!
I got this as a gift for my nephew for his 3rd bday. He loves it! Plays with it all the time. The tent is small enough to hang out in the corner of their living room and he loves that the lamp and camp stove light up. So far, nothing has broken, which is pretty impressive. Highly recommend!

Manufacture defect
Bought this for my grandson, he loves it, it was a birthday gift for him, after playing with it for a while we went to put batteries in the toys that took them, upon doing so we found that metal battery terminals were not installed into the compartments of the camp stove during manufacturing, being a toddler its not really worth it for me to take it away from him now that he plays with it to get replaced so it is just a dud toy, all the rest are fine and it is a neat set to get young kids interested in camping.

Love it
It arrived this morning. My kid can’t wait to play with it. The quality of the camping accessories are much better than I expected. The tent material is a little bit thin, but acceptable. My daughter loves it. She spent hours playing with it.

Great toy for young explorers
Bought this for our 1.5 year old grandson. He absolutely loves it and spent the first day with it inside the tent. Some of the play items are on the cheaper side, but overall a great product for little campers! Everyone who sees it asks where they can get one too! Tent is of decent quality and is a great size for toddlers and preschoolers. Just don’t forget the AA batteries as it doesn’t come with any, aside from the flashlight/whistle.

Not the best quality, but worth the price.
The tent had an obvious factory originating flaw. There is a hole in each side of the tent where all of the sides met in packaging. The tent is thin and low quality. The toys that come with it are really cute and you get quite a bit for the money. The flashlight, fake grill and lantern all work and are cute. Worth the purchase at the price I paid.
