American Tourister Fieldbrook II Softside Upright Luggage Set, Red/Black, 4-Piece Set (tote/DF/21/25)

I really love the value on this set. I got them on sale and thought I was getting only one or two bags but the entire set of four arrived. Even at the original price, I thought that it wouldn't be quite as well made as I wanted, but the price was right and it had high ratings consistently. When I received the and checked them out for quality and space, I saw why they're highly rated. It's not a "very large" set but a moderately large set. I bought this to go on a cruise with girlfriends, and this is perfect for me to travel for a week, and I'm only taking the largest bag, the midsize bag, and the small bag. I could probably condense more than I'm but I plan on buying souvenirs. ;-) It would also be perfect for a couple to travel for nearly a week. I will likely buy additional luggage for this set for my daughters when we do a family vacation. I've really packed the large bag heavily so far, and it IS heavy... but I love the fact that I can pull two luggage cases at the same time easily because they have the long handles and wheels. Even the one that's shaped like a duffle bag has wheels if you need them. I love all of the pockets. Seriously though, the portability is important to me because I can't carry heavy things with Fibromyalgia. My only complaint is that I can't figure out how to attach the smaller bag to the bigger bag but that's my issue and not the baggage. Oh, and that they didn't come with luggage tags. That would have been nice. I bought it in purple and they're more of an eggplant purple in person than what you see in the photo but they're still very attractive. My husband said they're manly enough that he would use them and not be embarrassed. They've handled several weeks of my daughters pretending to pack and unpack, rolling around the house packed full of everything and anything, and attention from our cats. Not a single mark on them.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about - I love this luggage. Admittedly, I never fly and this luggage will probably never see an airport... if I expected strangers to be handling my luggage, and shoving it into a storage space, I would buy hard shell. I bought this for weekend road trips and overnight stays, and for those uses in mind, this is great luggage. The canvas material is strong and sturdy, the wheels and pull handles are up to the use, and the largest case even has a hidden zipper to expand the overall size a little - perfect for the end of the trip when you've somehow got more to take back than you came with. The lining inside does not cover the entire inside - it is just meant as a thin barrier between your items and the extendable pull handle - but it is perfectly sufficient for the need. The "American Tourister" emblem DOES have the "since 1933" part on it, contrary to one other reviewer's statement, and I believe that, if anything, this is just the lower end of their luggage made more affordable but still up to their quality standards. I did think the color was going to be a bit more vibrant - a more grape candy purple and this is really more of a plummy, reddish purple - but I love all shades of purple and am still thrilled with this luggage. People who know me have no trouble guessing which suitcase is mine because of the distinctive color and I love that!

I wasn't sure if I should buy this! I read the reviews and I still wasn't sure! It was my first time travelling abroad to Asia for university and I was really scared that my luggage would fall apart. I didn't have any reliable suitcases at home and it took hours upon hours of reading every single customer review to pick something. I chose this set because for the price, you're getting a whole load of stuff, and also because it all matches! I prefer cloth suitcases over the plastic ones, because I'm afraid the plastic will break. Finally, in regards to the pieces themselves, they held up very very well! Not even grazed or broken yet! You can tell the quality is really weak/cheap/thin, but the suitcase itself doesn't look bad at all. On my way back, I stuffed them up so tight that they still didn't tear. I've used only the rolling pieces. The computer/laptop bag is ok for a 15" laptop at best and is a typical, stiff laptop/shoulder bag. The large duffel is so big and roomy. It's more sturdy than I'd expected and made of thicker (or just reinforced more) than the other pieces. If you're not sure and you're on a budget to buy luggage, I would say go with this! It comes all packed into one suitcase, they're SUPER light and super sturdy! I dragged these through the streets in Korea and they survived that and baggage claim in three airports!

I did a lot of research and for the price point, this set beats them all. The larger case is perfect for a checked bag and held enough clothes and then some for a week's vacation with room to spare. The carry-on is super roomy while fitting airline size limits, and the boarding bag is perfect as your "personal" item. It held my purse, tablet, snacks, camera, and the "bag of liquids". The extra strap across the back is handy as it slips over the carry on pull handle so you don't have to worry about it sliding off & leaves you with a free hand. I didn't have problems with the larger 2 bags tipping over when full, like I had with my previous set of luggage. The feet seem about 3 times the size of my older set. I pulled both bags through a parking lot, onto a shuttle, through an airport, then through another airport, onto another shuttle, and across another parking lot. Repeated for the return home and I didn't have any problems with the wheels. The wheel material seems to hold up well on concrete. For me the wheeled duffel bag was a bonus, so the shorter pull handle on it is not a huge issue for me. I used it to carry my dog's belongings to the boarder and it worked perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.

En general las maletas cumplieron con lo esperado, solo no me gustó el forro interior que parece muy barato comparado con otras maletas que he tenido de la misma marca pero por fuera están bien construidas
