Metal Spinner for Ice Skate Training by Jerry's Skating World

I like the fact that it is not scratching the floor. Bearings in it work well. Don’t know how it compares to conventional footprint shaped spinners and how realistic those are because I don’t have one. This one helped my skating though and it is easy to use (it doesn’t move after you jump from it).

This spin board is very well constructed of high-quality materials and it spins FAST! I love the grips. You can use either side on basically any surface (minus dirt because...smooth bearings you wouldn't want to wreck from dirt getting in). You might want to note the actual size dimensions. I wasn't sure what to expect. I wear a Womens' Size 9 and my entire foot does not fit onto the board. I don't see that this is super important. I didn't check the dimensions, but I think it will work just fine (I'm completely new to this). If you're new, I would highly recommend either watching videos on how to get started or hire a coach. Can't wait to build skill.

This spinner is really nice in that, because it has its own base, it can be used on any type of surface, including on rugs. While one still has to be careful when using this training device, I have found this design to be far safer than the plastic spinners that are roughly the width and length of one's foot. While the metal material does make it heavier than other spinner designs, it is still perfectly portable; I frequently carry mine with me when traveling . As a former competitive skater who is getting back into figure skating, the spinner has been quite helpful, especially in terms of finding my center of balance, which has improved my spinning and jumping technique.

Great for figure skating spin training back and forwards spins. Compared to edea spinner, much more stable and able to be used on any surfaces instead of only shiny floors. The design is a bit industrial looking, no logo, only ugly black and metal color but this can be overlooked for how good it is.

It is usable. But not spinning as smoothly as I expected.

I ordered this for my 13-year-old daughter for off ice spin practice, it works really well. Especially, it helps her spin without travel which is a lot harder but a critical skills to develop senior spinning skills, also comes with the side benefit of ridding my floor from any scratch :-). I am also amazed by its small size, my daughter can easiely fit it in her suitcase when travel to competitions, she can still practice at bed time. Love it!!!
