What size are these mitts? I have big hands that often don't fit in boxing gloves from Asia.

The gloves are pretty big but have an immense amount of padding in the palm for catching and 10oz padding for the fists. I normally use one catch mitt for the right and these gloves for the left in order to throw a quick jab.

How is the protection in the palm part of thumb?

It's fairly thick, not the same material as the rectangular pad covering the palm but the gloves themselves are stiff (nearly inflexible), and densely padded for hard hits.

Does this come as a pair Right & Left?

Yes, they come in a pair. One matched for each opposing hand.

What’s the size on those gloves ?

They're mitts with gloves on top in order to mimic real fight action with your students. As far as size I'd say 16-18oz
