This back brace is very supportive. It has a lace up area on the back that helps it to be adjustable from small to medium. The lace up area is made of larger nylon strapping that connects the two panels. This area also provides support. The front is wide and helps to provide additional support and comfort at the abdomen. There is an additional strap that is used to pull the two panels tauter after the Velcro is secured to provide a snugger fit. The fact that it the compression level is adjustable is great. You can pull it tighter for a snugger fit or you can loosen it to provide comfort at different times depending on your needs. The product is easy to use as well as being sturdy and strong.The shipping time was quick and I was very happy to receive it for my husband. He has had a lumbar laminectomy, but still has back pain after an extended time of bending and lifting. This brace has been very comfortable for him and he is actually using it which makes me happy. He has tried other braces and prefers this one hands down over any of the others that he has used.I received this product at a discounted price for an honest review.

Best back brace I have had! And have had a few! This one fits tight and allows you to cinch it to your favorite tightness! So impressed with the support. An added benefit is that I am sitting up straight due to the fit of this. I had a microlumbardiscectomy and was left with permanent neuropathy in my R leg/knee/ankle/foot. Going next week to see if I need a fusion- bummer! Still in too much pain over a year later. This back brace is nothing short of awesome! Highly recommend!

oh, putting this on was so pleasurable, it totally felt great on my aching back. This item you can wear all day and feel great about it. The extensions allow a perfect fit. This is a very good brace for the price and can easily be adjusted to fit your body. I purchased one for myself and liked it so I showed my friends and they liked it as well, and I bought two for them.The brace is very simple to cinch if it becomes loose from too much bending over.(Something you really shouldn't do with a tender back.)I recommend this product for anyone looking for a light weight, simple yet supportive brace for your back and wouldbuy it again.

This is a very supportive brace, however the one I ordered just barely fits me and I measured my waist around my navel at 31 inches. I wish there was more cushion/padding where the corset/straps sits on your back, as they rub against my staples (just had spinal surgery). For the price though, I am happy with how tight and useful it is for the price.

this strong and sturdy back brace really helps a lot. I'm a nurse who works 12hr shifts, and does a lot of physical lifting. this can take a lot of toll on a body by the end of a shift. This brace provides strong, firm support to the lower back area.The main bulk of the brace is made of thick woven nylon, like you might find for strapping material (think: the same type a backpack strap is made of?). It's not the most comfortable up against the skin, but it's not uncomfortable in general, and feels fine with a shirt between the brace. the velcro is strong and does not detach when bending over or reaching up. Although it restricts motion at the area it's bracing (that's the intent!) it does not restrict lateral (side to side) bending. It helps me to maintain my posture through the long shift.It has velco which attaches to the adjustable tension cords in the back (similar to a corset) which makes it multiply customizable for: sitting, standing, walking, stooping and as my body changes before and after meals. At times i need a bit more support, sometimes i might need a bit less. My prior brace would have to be completely removed to readjust- this one is just a simple pull of the cord. I have a bit of a gut, and it fits well just above my hips (over the widest part of my stomach), and does not pinch when pulling tighter for compression and stability.I received a discount on this product in consideration for an unbiased review.

Great support for a great priceThe support it gives is great and really eases my chronic back pain. I like how there are two layers of adjustments so I can ease up the tightness a little bit when I sit down. It forces me to have my back straight throughout the day and my back muscle strain has been making steady improvements since I bought this back brace. Really nice!
