Coloring these cats are a lot of fun
This is one cool cat coloring book, love the beautiful design all over these stunning pussy cats. I feel in love with these wonderful creations from the first time that I found this book. If you like cats you are going to love coloring in this book. What great about this book is that I can use my marker to color these pretty design, each cat has it own page so there is no worries of messing up the next design in this book. I do use a extra sheet of paper under the design that I am coloring to be on the safe side. The design are on medium weight bright white paper, there are 30 full page to color to your heart desires. I recommend this book to anyone who is into and love coloring. This is a great buy. Coloring has become my favorite hobby, it releases stress, it is a lot of fun. It keeps my mind off of my care. I find myself coloring for hours at a time.

A Beautiful Whimsical Coloring Book
A Beautiful Whimsical Coloring Book.... I absolutely love this book!!! Although a bit of variety in the cat faces would have been an added plus, the backgrounds are what make the coloring sheets so enjoyable. Various themes on all the pages gives you a choice of what type of theme you are in the mood to work on. After a long day of work, it's so relaxing to sit down and color a fantasy at nite. The pages are heavier than most other books and are perforated so as I choose a page to work on, I remove it, place it on a clipboard, and sit back in my chair. It is amazing to see the colors you choose come to life! I use pencils, but did test a page with gel pens and found that they did bleed through - I placed a blank sheet under the coloring page and the problem was solved for anyone using gels. I highly recommend this book for adults and older children over 10. Younger children would have a bit of trouble and would probably get discouraged. Buy this book - You won't be disappointed!!!

My favorite coloring books!
Love the Marjorie Sarnat coloring books! The designs are beautiful and creative. The pages are perforated which makes them easy to tear out.

Great Images, Small Details might be hard for some to color
Love coloring and this is a great way to relax. I found myself spending a little too much time on this but it was so nice to just color and allow my mind to focus on the task at hand. I bought this book by Marjorie Smart and Creative Haven Owls Coloring Book (Creative Haven Coloring Books) . I liked the fun designs and cats and owls are adorable. There is only one image on each page so you don't have to worry about what you color with or how hard you press. The page was easy to tear out so that I could maneuver the page however I needed. The book has great paper quality so it won't damage markers or make it look incomplete when using colored pencils. My only complaint. It was TOO detailed. i enjoyed the images and will continue to use the book but it can get tedious trying to complete every little detail because there is just so much in each image. This is a hard balance to find though. Many books provide so much white space and you feel cheated out; these images occupy much of the page but requires attention to detail.

Fun, Whimsical and Wonderful Images!
Reviews are very important to me when choosing which coloring books to purchase. So I have decided to begin writing my own. The moment I opened this book, I was in love. The images are fun and whimsical - screaming to be filled with bright, vibrant colors. Yes, the face of the cat is identical throughout - some may be disappointed by this. I see the cat as a secondary element of the drawing. Each page is 'themed', (eg: travel, flowers, cuckoo clocks, writer, fairy, etc), The theme, to me, is the primary element of the image. As for the book itself, paper is not a concern to me, since I copy the pages so I can color them more than once using different implements. Gel pens, color pencils and fine tip markers are the most common implements I use. The paper is thicker than your average copy paper, but I would never color in the book without putting a protective sheet in between pages. Marker will bleed through - Sharpie would bleed the most, Crayola the least. The gel pens don't bleed through, but the color shows through the back (not sure if this will make sense to you - the reader). Most books you would not want the binding to break easily, but with coloring books, most people like the book to lay flat, whether for coloring or copying. This binding 'breaks' open very well. Allowing me to copy pages without removing them from the book. The pages are perforated!!! Coloring books loose at least 1/2 a star, in my opinion, for not having perforated pages. These are also one-sided pages, also important enough to loose 1/2 a star over. Overall, the images in this book are fun, with crisp lines (even the fine lines) and minimal white space. Perhaps not for the youngest of coloring enthusiasts, unless they are a little more advanced in their coloring skills. (I did use these types of books to help hone my daughter's fine motor skills). I am looking forward to bringing out the brightest (and least used) of my pens and pencils for these images. Glitters, metallics and neons - oh my!!!

Enjoy CATS Coloring - Relax & Can't Beat The Price! Enjoy!
I love CATS and have recently seen several friends begin adult coloring as a form of relaxation. As such, I bought "Creative Cats" coloring book to see what it would be like. The price is amazing ($3.71 Prime)! This is not really a beginners coloring book as there is a LOT of detail to each of the pages. More than 30 unbacked pages and every page is perforated for display, framing or showing as you desire. Beautiful option for coloring flowers, paisley, music notes, designs and themes to enjoy. New things to discover on every page. The only thing that would have improved this book would have been to include different breeds of cats. I was so hoping to find a Scottish Fold amidst the photos but ALL pages are similar cats to the one displayed on the front cover. Maybe the author Margorie Sarnat will read my review and produce a new book with a variety of pedigree cats. We can always hope! Still, I would recommend this great deal to anyone prepared to take on a challenge. Enjoy!

Such a fun book!
This is such a fun book. There are various scenes in which one or more cats are placed in scenes such as among flowers, in front of a cityscape, curled in a chair, and part of a playing card (just to name a few). The pictures are quite busy, so bear this in mind if this sort of thing drives you crazy. I personally like doing all the little details so this book has delighted me. The designs are the sort that just beg for bold, bright colors... gel pens look awesome! They gels do show through on the back, but since there are no drawings there, it doesn't affect anything. A simple sheet of computer paper behind the page I am using gel pens on works more than adequately. The paper also did fine with my Prismacolor pencils, the Marco Raffine pencils, and several cheap marker sets (use that buffering sheet of paper!). I do not have Copics or other such markers so could not test them. I am not a paper expert but the paper feels sturdy enough, is perforated for easy removal, and the designs do not intrude onto the perforations. This is my "fun" go-to coloring book.

AMAZING, Super worth it!
This coloring book is perfect! It is listed as adult but I purchased for my eight year old. The spaces are larger than other books I have purchased so it can be colored with colored pencils, markers or pens. Not like some other books where there isn't any real space for colors. The pages are thicker so it would not bleed and the pictures are printed single so not double sided so no worry if color bleeds! You can simply tear a page out and work on it that way too. These coloring books are great for the whole family. She enjoys the hidden pictures and that she can start and stop on the picture whenever she wants because of the smaller pictures she doesn't have to take twenty minutes to finish a section. This a perfect inbetween book, its pictures are not a typical children's coloring book but not as extensive as the adult coloring books. SHE LOVES IT! Perfect gift!
