I like intense flavors. I can see how most people would not like these but I was pleasantly surprised. Very unusual and yes…intense flavor. Somewhat floral/licorice/medicinal.

This is one of my favorite sweets. I love the almost soapy taste.

I recently found Pan pasand gold at an Indian grocery store. It was a pack of about 10-15 candies for $2.99, I loved it. It had a bit of a minty flavor in addition to the paan and it wasn't overpowering. It also had a good shape where it doesn't cause those small cuts on your tongue as you eat it.This version however has no mint, the shape is very sharp on the sides. The taste / sugar is too strong. Maybe this was the original version that was sold in India when I was a kid - but its not as good as the version that I bought in store. I have to throw it out. I only ate one.In summary , there are two versions with the same name - this is not the good version.

i liked them but 10 or more of my coworkers all agreed it tasted like soap or perfume. They spit it out and threw it away. Will purchase a different brand next time.

Tastes great. Much better after a meal. Nostalgia for me.

It’s not a Paan Candy, it has no taste of Paan.Don’t waste your money. I have try one and spit it out right away. Now had throw away the whole bag in trash. What a waste of money and bad thing is you can’t return it back to seller.😡Don’t buy it!
