We needed this in order to film sustained videos. The little camera batteries don't last long enough. Camera model: Canon Rebel EOS SL1

I bought this so that I could power my Canon SL1 for long periods as a webcam. (Incidentally, the EOS Webcam utility beta works great with the SL1 despite it not being listed by Canon as a supported camera). I've had it on for many video concalls for more than an hour each with zero issues so far. Very convenient, and the the EOS webcam quality thoroughly outclasses standard webcams.

Works the way it is supposed to. I have a few of these that I use for my photo business. I simply connect the adapter into the camera battery slot and plug in and we are good to go for as long as I need the camera to be powered.

I don’t under stand the star review when in mentions stretch but this third party company handled them selves perfectly. Packaging was great and with great instructions for the product. And it had the correct dummy battery for my canon m50. The cable isn’t permanently attached.

What can I say, except that it works like a champ on my Canon SL1 camera. Everything fits perfectly and I'm able to keep the camera going for long periods of time without messing around with batteries.

It’s great but I don’t think it has enough power because every hour or so my camera will shut off for two seconds then pop back on, but it’s decent just not ideal.

Works great with my Canon SL1. Had a defective unit originally but the replacement was easy and the replacement unit has been going strong.

Great for when using the camera for extended use. I can now be connected to my camera when using it at home instead of wasting out the rechargeable battery which is exactly what I wanted it for.
