Professional Plastic Cuticle Pusher

I had been using those wooden "orange sticks" for years because I thought my only alternative was one of those harsh metal cuticle pushers. Then it occurred to me to check Amazon! I found these and threw a couple in with an order I was already placing. Got them ... used them ... loved them. Finally! A cuticle pusher that's not too hard yet not too soft. Gets the job done gently but firmly.I bought more with a subsequent order so that I can keep one at my desk, one next to my bed, one in the bathroom, one in my purse, you name it. I'm a reformed cuticle cutter/picker who recently gave up those bad habits and is rehabbing her nails. Using cuticle oil multiple times throughout the day (try the Zeva Cuticle Oil Pen, great product and design - I love their brand!) plus pushing back my cuticles with this nifty tool on the daily has greatly improved my situation. Very satisfied customer here!

I bought this rubber cuticle pusher for use with my Jamberry nail stickers. I love it. I couldn't find it at the drug store and ordered it here - it's spectacular. First, I find that it is more comfortable than a metal cuticle pusher. I've never liked the sensation of pushing on my cuticles when I've had manicures at the salon, and this rubber pusher is much less uncomfortable than metal, and I would even go so far as to say that it might work better than its metal counterpart. It is also very, very helpful in pushing down my Jamberry nail stickers - this does a nice job of helping me get a good seal, and you can apply a lot of pressure to it without feeling as though you are hurting the instrument or the nail. I highly recommend.

Look, pushing back a cuticle is not complicated. This thing, which combines a couple of types of plastic, probably cost a few cents to make. But it does the job adequately. It's not particularly sturdy. But it does the job and, I presume, will do it for quite a while. I could have spent 10-20 times more for a cuticle pusher. And while those more expensive items looked classier and more refined, I can't imagine that they do that much better a job than this thing. All in all, I'm pretty pleased with it.

This cuticle pusher is an outstanding product. It is very gentle on my cuticles. This will be the cuticle pusher I use from now on! I get the job done using this. The other side is sharp and you can use it for many different uses. Don't let the word "plastic" detour you into thinking this is a cheap item. It is very well made! Nice! Works better than other tools similar to this. Will order again when need be. Most tools, the tip at the top, eventually falls off. This one is softer and sleeker handle.

This works fine, but the rubbery white piece for pushing back cuticles is a bit hard and unyielding. I prefer a cuticle pusher that is a little softer and has more give. Also the pointed end is rounded rather than flat like other cuticle pushers I have used. Probably comes down to personal preference, but I like a tip that is flat and can fit between the nail and skin to clean up edges. With this pointed end I don't ever seem to get all the polish cleaned off and I feel like I am stabbing my finger. I had a Jonel cuticle pusher I loved and that I felt worked better, but sadly it has been discontinued. This gets the job done, but I will keep looking for a suitable replacement for my Jonel one.

Good value, good to use to push back cuticles and to help peel off gel polish after soaking.

Perfect and sturdy tool. I like to use a cuticle remover liquid, and afterwards I use this to push my cuticles back. The white top is firm, but not hard as plastic. The other end of the pink stick is somewhat pointed, to allow scraping under nails.

This too is excellent for pushing the cuticles away when someone wants their acrylics or UV gel nails filled it. :)
