'Meathead' Recommended Steak Knives, as Seen on AmazingRibs.com (Set of 4)

This is it! REAL steak knives, not just a knife that cuts steak well. After reading Meatheads review about these knives, and considering his opinion and the great price, I decided to give them a try. I have a fairly decent set of knives for the kitchen, which includes 4 "steak knives". They are ok, but they were never what I considered to be real steak knives...(Rounded tips on a steak knife? Really?).These Amazing Ribs steak knives are the real deal!!! A very sharp pointed tip, followed by a very sharp serrated blade. The steel is top notch and will maintain a sharp edge, and the handles are triple rivited to stay solidly attached to the blade. Read the description, as it will tell you about the quality much better than I can. In my humble opinion they are well worth the price. I plan on buying a few more sets so I will always have enough quality steak knives!

First these are much larger than I thought. There was a comment made at the table "This must be how Jim Bowie ate his meat" lol.... Ok they are pretty big on the other hand they fit your hand really nice, these are not dainty steak knifes. Personally I like them them very much. They are about three times the size of a typical steakhouse steak knife sort of like a hunting knife hence the Jim Bowie comment. They are very well made, serious quality!

great knives so far!Update!: so after SIX YEARS of owning these knives, regular use, hand washing only, I can comfortably say that these knives were worth every single penny I spent. I have received zero compensation for This review by the way.Most of the negative reviews are petty in my opinion. Yes, the website is stamped in them, yes they appear more red in color than natural wood. But if you can get past these minor issues, I don’t know where else you can get a SET of knives that cut great and hold up for 6 years. I’m an avid griller, bbq’r etc. yes I own expensive wusthof knives as well. This set of steak knives have performed flawlessly for me!

Like many or most folks here I learned about these knives from AmazingRibs.com. I purchased these because all I had was a cheap set of knives that were old and never quite cut it, so to speak. After using these a few times I can say that these are the best Steak Knives I've owned yet. The quality has been top notch including the rugged, comfortable, and attractive handles. They make cutting through a steak as easy as cutting through hot butter. I used these on 3" Cowboy Steaks and they made the job easy without applying any pressure at all.I highly recommend these knives to anyone.

I've been a fan of the amazingribs.com website for awhile so when I saw they had knives they recommended I thought I would give them a shot. I've only had them for a short time, but I can tell you they are sharp, sturdy and feel good in your hands. I've also run them through the dishwasher with no issues.Overall I'm pleased with them and feel that they are a good value.

I have eight of them. They are worth 5 Stars and price. Very sturdy and fit my large hands well. Easy to sharpen but quality of steel prohibites edge from staying sharp very long.

I like steak and these knives add to the enjoyment of eating steak. They are big and easy to hold and are sharp enough that they don't rip through or shred the neat.

Only used a few times, but cut well.
