Perfect for Asustor 606t
Works very well for the Asustor 606t. I would recommend the extra ram because you really see it ALL being used during file transfers. I can consistently see near saturation of my gigabit connection during data transfers and during these activities, the RAM is fully used as a buffer. Also, the extra RAM is nice to have while running XBMC and PLEX. Installation is very simple: remove the cover, lift the plastic flap, insert the RAM module until it clicks, replace the plastic, replace the cover. It takes less than 2 minutes to do if you are familiar working with computers.I have tested the setup by creating raid 1, raid 5, and raid 6 and have not had any issues so far!

This RAM worked in my Asustor AS-602T
Works great in my Asustor AS-602T NAS. I spent a lot more effort trying to find RAM that would work in this NAS than I should have been necessary but Asustor only recommends certain RAM. From the specification I could find, this RAM should work and it did! Delivery was quick and price was very good. No problems and I am one very happy customer with a faster NAS thanks to this product.

Does what it's suppose to
I worked with electronics for about 7 years, (Fry's Electronics). There were always debates about the best memory. Personally, I have never had a sticky of memory fail, or one be DOA. So when selecting memory to expand that of a NAS drive, I was just looking for the cheapest option. This Kingston stick installed easy, and worked no problem. I think memory is like a child who dies of SIDS, in that you don't know anyone that has experienced it, but you do know someone, who has a brother, who's ex gf's dad heard of someone that experienced it first hand. Memory is memory.

Four Stars
Works with my Synology DS1513+ (allowed it to boot, other RAM sticks purchased did not).

Very durable chips
Not much exciting to speak about, except these are very solid memory sticks. I bought them for my QNAP. After I ordered, it took me a month or so to figure out I did not get them. Because of the length in time before I noticed they were gone, I did not contact Amazon.com. During the Autumn leave pickup, my wife found an envelope, we opened it and, guess what, the memory chips were in there. This is Minneosta weather, so we had some hot days, rain, freezing (below 32). At first I was hesitant to stick them in my NAS, but since this is the backup I thought to try it out anyway, and well... they have worked now for 2-3 months like a charm.Definitely will buy from Kingston again.

I only use Kingston memory, great stuff
I've relied on Kingston memory for 15 to 20 years. They have a great product, and very long warranty (on the items I use at least).I use this particular model with the Intel NUC boxes, and they work great together. These systems are used in 24/7/365 situations like Asterisk/voiSip phone systems, so they get a workout.I also like the new easy to open packaging. Much less waste than some competitors, and I don't lose a finger trying to cut it open. One tip... always go to the Kingston website, use the memory selection tool, find your motherboard and get the matching memory. Don't try using the "one size fits all" type memory, unless it is specified as compatible for your board. Using memory that is "close enough for government work", will likely result in little glitches like hanging up, or even rebooting randomly. So get the right memory... it doesn't cost any more, and it will save you headaches.Enjoy!

QNAP NAS buyers beware! (Alternative found)
I have one of these running fine in a QNAP TS-469L NAS and purchased a second one for a new TS-669L. Though the model number of the new RAM is exactly the same as my old one, the new RAM does not work at all; neither TS-469L nor the TS-669L will boot with this RAM installed. As someone else has pointed out, the chip configuration is different on the new RAM. On the one that worked, the chips are lined up in a single row on both sides of the board, on the newer one the chips are staggered in two rows. Others on the QNAP forum noted this same difference. After digging around, I was able to find a Crucial RAM module that does work in the QNAPs, and was actually a couple of bucks cheaper. Crucial 2GB Single DDR3 1333 MT/s (PC3-10600) CL9 SODIMM 204-Pin 1.35V/1.5V Notebook Memory Module CT25664BF1339 I installed one of these Crucial models in my TS-469L and it works like a champ. Bear in mind that even though there are 4 and 8 GB modules of this type, you can only install a 2GB module in the QNAP, as it only support a total of 3GB of RAM, including the 1GB built into the QNAP.Although the old Kingston Value RAM module has worked flawlessly for over a year, and I have had nothing but excellent results from Kingston RAM in the past, I'm docking it two stars because of the inconsistency of this product.

Compatible with Synology DS2413+
I purchased this RAM although there were 0 reviews on whether it's compatible with Synology NAS products. It seems like everyone's been putting in the 1066MHz of the same ram, as that product has a ton of reviews from Synology users. However, the pre-installed RAM that comes with your Synology NAS device has 1333MHz frequency. Therefore, I wanted to try this RAM.And here's the great news... this works fine in my DS2413+. No problems whatsoever. Shows up as 4GB of total ram (DS2413+ comes with 2GB of RAM installed.) No boot problems.Hope this helps.

Works perfectly with QNAP 469L NAS device
Found this particular ram module to be compatible with the QNAP 469L NAS device. I needed to upgrade it from 1GB to 3GB, It worked like a charm.** Just a heads up, you might need to swap the 1GB from the primary slot to the expansion slot. Mine wouldn't boot up properly when I installed the 2GB Kingston into the expansion slot. Just remove the little tab of white glue. Other than that, installation was a BREEZE! **If I had bought the "certified" 2GB module from QNAP it would have costed me ~$150. Great price and extremely fast shipping!

Great for Qnap 469L
Works great with QNAP TS-469L. mine qnap shows 3GB.It's also super easy to install: remove 3 screws, press lightly, place the cover back on. and that's it.Way better than the "official one" sold for $150+
