It's a nice frame for my artwork. The plexiglass is good, with no scratches. The only issues are the cardboard backing and the looseness of the frame's corners. Thankfully, I have a sturdy backing from Ikea that I used. I like that it came with the hooks, wire, and screws. That was a plus.

I buy quite a few readymade frames at this price point, but I have NEVER received one that used cheap thin cardboard for the backing board and those bendable staples that you have to bend out and then bend back in order to put the picture in the frame and are completely unforgiving and do not allow you to ever remove and replace any picture because the staples -- or whatever you call them -- break off. I even looked carefully at the Amazon ad to check to see how the backing of the fame was made. I am extremely disappointed. The seller has an obligation to reveal that these are cardboard backed rather than stiff fiberboard and do not use the sliding fasteners that allow you to easily remove the picture, clean the inside of the "glass" or replace the picture. If you think you will never ever have to remove the backing, then you might be OK with this type of frame. What I'd recommend, however, is go get a piece of foam core to use in place of this flimsy piece of cardboard. I started by giving this one star, but I decided that was probably unfair. The front frame itself and plastic "glass" are fine for this price point.

I bought two of these to assemble with mats and art prints as a Christmas gift, and since I was short on time I was a little apprehensive in case they weren't nice once they got here. They turned out to be nicer than anticipated, they gave an upgraded finished look to the project. Look at the fifth photo of the frame corners and you can see that the front surface is the littlest bit "puffed" or convex, just enough to elevate the look over a completely flat frame; it makes them a bit more special but doesn't distract from your art. Will absolutely repurchase for my next framing.
