I needed a salad bowl to take to a family gathering for 12 people. It's perfect. It doesn't look cheap at all and it's light. A very nice shape that makes it look a bit more upscale. Very happy with the price and that there are two of them.

My mom was looking for light weight, good sized serving bowls. She began using these the same day she received them. As they are melamine, they are also durable.

Took'em to church

I bought these primarily as serving bowls, but I have also used them as.mixing bowls. So far they have met and exceeded my expectations. They're sturdy, attractive and large enough to serve salad for 10-15 people without a problem. We've put both hot and cold foods in them and the bowls seem like they handle both equally as well. I recommend using a towel or oven mits to hold and carry the bowl if you put hot food in to serve because the heat will transfer through the walls of the bowls.

Light weight and sturdy. Nice looking on the dining table. Can be used for any occasion, the food looks great in this bowl. I loved this product so much especially for it’s light weight and can be used in the microwave.

These bowls are exactly what I was looking for. Generously sized, lightweight, with just enough flair for the dining table (as opposed to the picnic table - though they'd be safe for outdoor use as well!).
