They are made in Roubaix fabric which is a lightweight, thermal and fleece lined. It is also elastic allowing it to stretch to the shape of your child's hands. With elasticated thread used throughout the seams are robust.How touch screen tips work.Most of our phones are made using ‘capacitive touch technology’ so that they respond to the small electrical charges (static) on our fingers. But when you put on gloves the fabric blocks the electrical charges and the touch technology no longer works. So the ‘touch screen tips’ conduct the electrical charges on your finger onto the phone and it then responds to your finger strokes. But as you may have experienced when your screen gets wet it is very difficult to get it to respond to finger strokes. This is because the moisture is dissipating the electrical charges on your finger. The same will happen to the ‘touch screen tips’ if the gloves get damp in the rain.

quality and sizing
gloves seems of good quality. i’ve purchase other similar gloves, other brand (optimum velocity) and the Tuoni are definitely better quality. example of it is the velcro bit and the wrist. Tuoni’s have a lining all around the velcro bit which means the velcro won’t come off after repetitive open and closing. the other ones, haven’t and the velcro on one glove was already coming off just out of the package. so i’m returning the optimum ones. Note the size xs is also different from on brand to another. Optimum were smaller. i’m petite and i can easily wear the Tuoni.

Don’t buy for rugby
Shouldn’t really have rugby in the heading, as you’re only supposed to have fingerless gloves for rugby... should’ve done my homework before buying...

Good quality
Make sure that you check the size, use the chart, they stretch and are easy to wear. Don’t fell off and look nice.

Great gloves, very comfy
My son loves these - he plays hockey in them - they have an excellent grip on the palm of the gloves to assist in holding the hockey stick - they are also very comfortable to wear

Look great but very long fingers
They look great. I bought xxs for my 9 year old son and although the fingers are very long, he doesn’t seem to mind because they look cool!

OK for football use
Bought for my 8 year old son for wearing while playing football, fit him perfectly and he says they keep his hands warm, not sure myself how warm they'll be once the real cold weather comes around but for the money they seem fine.

Great quality and fit
Got these for my grandson to keep his hands warm whilst playing football, he loves them so much he wears them all the time. Great fit as my grandson's hands a small. Good quality.
