This is gentle - does not bother my digestive system. Has brought my iron levels back to normal. Have recommended it to several friends.

It is a gentle iron, it is easy on the stomach and does not cause gastrointestinal issues. It has not blocked up my bowels but it also does not have the rapid recovery for my blood that heme tablets do, they work much quicker and seem to be absorbed more readily than the gentle iron. However, for the difference in price unless you are critically anemic these will bring your blood levels back up without breaking the bank. It just takes longer than heme tablets.

These don’t exactly upset my stomach but I feel somewhat queasy, even though I take them with meals but they don’t cause heartburn like SlowFe did. Hopefully, they will increase my ferritin levels.

I take two of these a day for years since my gastric bypass surgery. I was worried that taking so much iron would constipate me, but the gentle iron formula from Solgar doesnt. My blood tests improved and my iron levels are where they should be even with my limited diet.

It's iron so even gentle causes constipation. I suggest taking every other day to prevent....issues.

Good product for those suffering from iron deficiency

This product was suggested by my gynecologist during pregnancy as I had extreme heart burn during pregnancy and the regular iron tablets didn't suit my gut. This product helped in maintaining the iron levels and also felt very light on the gut without giving any heart burn.
