East & cheap solution to clear the P2015 DTC
Fitted to a 2009 A3 8P. Had to drill out one hole in the bracket that comes with it to 6.5mm as the bottom bolt on the intake manifold did not fit through it. Once fitted in place I started the car and adjusted the bracket before fully tightening it. The code/engine management light did not clear itself though. Had to use the Carista app linked to my NEXAS NexLink Bluetooth 5.0 OBDII Scanner to clear the DTC. Happy days!!

Does the job perfectly
Had my engine management light on my 2008 VW Tiguan Sport TDI 4motion for over 5 years.Just for the record my car has never missed a beat. Had the P2015 fault code diagnosed years ago but decided to not have the part replaced due to the cost of just over £500 and several mechanics previously advised there was no need apart from the management light on.Finally decided to get the fix done after reading many reviews about this bracket. Just picked my vehicle up frkm local mechanic and its worked a treat!! He did have a few issues trying to get the spring back on as seen on youtube videos but the management light has finally gone after all these years at a fraction of the price of a complete new unit.Highly recommended .

Could not be happier
My garage estimated £450 to replace the intake manifold in order to clear the P2015 fault code on my MK6 VW Golf. Looking online this a very common fault, so common that VW extended the warranty 10 years or up to120,000 miles on your vehicle whichever comes first. My advice - don't take them up on this. I've seen plenty of horror stories online relating to them cocking up the manifold repair by damaging fuel lines or wiring harnesses. This cleared my fault code immediately without having to use an OBD reader. There's plenty of video tutorials outlining the process and anyone with basic tools can do this. Save yourself some money. The only minor gripe I had was that the two drilled holes were slightly too small for any of the 3 OEM bolts so I used a 6mm HSS drill bit to slightly widen them. This didn't take long and I cannot complain with the low cost of this kit.

Fiddly, but easy to do
To buy this little piece of aluminium from some Audi Vw Specialist can cost £80- £160 , at £6 it looked identical, so to thought I would give it a try. It is not machined as well as something at the above price, very very fiddly to fit, but it works, Now been on six months, no manifold flap p0925 issues coming up. Just make sure you have a magnet on a stick to stop the return spring from disappearing. Also use loctite on the bolts. All in all, superb little bit of kit with a big potential saving of a new inley manifold.

Good product, even better price
Overall good value for money, had to widen one hole with a drill, but not a problem. Fixed the issue, that's most important.Easy install if you have slightest bit of sense. My car is 2008 Jetta 2.0 103kw

2009 Tiguan 2.0tdi escape
Took 15mins to fit. Hardest part was that the holes on the metal rectangle that affixes to the bracket were too small for the big bolts taken out so needed enlarging but it works perfectly. Cleared the code with a battery disconnect and its stayed cleared. 2009 Tiguan 2.0tdi escape.
