Replaced Smaller Tire
We had a blow out on the highway on our 2004 31 foot Alumascape Holiday Rambler camper the second time we took it out for a camping trip. The tires we had on it were less than five years old - they were LT225/75R16 which, as I understand it, were the original type of tire for this camper. Even though those tires looked good, we decided to replace them all after reading reviews that there were multiple issues with blow outs because the tires weren't strong enough to bear this campers weight (12,400 lbs.)This tire (the ST235/80R16) is bigger than our previous tires and we were worried they wouldn't fit. They fit fine on the door side but we had to take off the fender cover on the other side or they would have rubbed against it. We think we would have preferred an ST225/75R16 but didn't find that and not sure it would have been as sturdy. We also aren't sure if the blow out displaced our fender and that could be why it had to come off. Also, regarding delivery - we received these tires super fast - about a week before expected but they were left laying in our driveway where I found them when I got home from lunch. The notification on our Alexa didn't come until the next day. It would have been better if they had a left a notice for us to go pick them up. Glad these weren't stolen.Guess we'll now have to buy some type of rack for the back of the camper but it will be worth it if we don't have any more blow outs! These look really strong - fingers crossed.**Also, FYI - another site recommended the ST235/85R16 but we looked at those at a local store and they were huge and would definitely not have fit.

Best camper tires out there!!!
Nice tire. Just what I was wanting.Update;I now have 22,000 miles on these tires and I am taking them off and going to install them on my new camper. I have rotated them around 6000 miles and am very well pleased with the quality of this tire. When they are worn out I’ll be getting 4 more!!

Manufacturer defect on tire. No, it was not road hazard.
