My Lola has been eating this for the last two years. The other 6 was for young dogs. My vet eventually told me she feeds her dogs Purina pro plan chicken. The other fancy dog foods have pea proteins and legumes. VERY BAD FOR LARGE DOGS! Even my local pet stores lied about that, they said it was not true and gave me some lying articles. The vet verified that large dogs should not eat legumes or pea proteins. I have a Dutch Shepard. 8 and 1/2 years old. Energetic and lean because of this food.

This food has been great for our dog. He has some skin allergy issues and this food seems to agree with him

decent quality food. i mix it with some better quality foods to get better nutrition and ingredients but would reccomend for a good affordable option

My dogs have sensitivities and this food has been wonderful. They have no more issues but are fed and healthy and happy

We switched to this dog food because it came highly recommended by our wonderful vet. I started noticing positive changes in our dogs within the first week. We have a 5 year old basset hound and a 10 year old cur mix, and they both absolutely love this food. This was a relief because one of them can be a bit picky, and both have sensitive stomachs.Since switching to Purina Pro, I’ve observed several significant improvements in both of them. Within a few weeks, they appeared healthier overall, with a noticeable increase in their energy levels. I believe this is because they are now getting the full range of nutrients they need to be happy, healthy pups—nutrients that aren't typically found in most dry dog foods.One of the most important improvements I noticed is their consistency with bowel movements. It used to vary from day to day between the two of them, but now their overall gut health has become much better and more predictable. This consistency allows me to easily identify and monitor any abnormalities so that if something is wrong or they aren’t feeling well, I can address the issue quickly. Previously, it was challenging to determine if something was wrong because their digestive health varied from day to day, along with their gas and bowel movements.I can't recommend this food enough! My dogs are literally like my children, so I have very high expectations for everything that involves them—even the smallest details. So its safe to say, if my dogs are consuming this food and I’m satisfied enough to come here and write this positive review, which has somehow turned into a novel, then you should absolutely be feeding this to your pups. They deserve it and it’s worth every penny.-The only negative point worth mentioning is that the salmon and rice flavor has a bit of a pungent smell. If you're sensitive to odors, you might want to choose a different flavor. It hasn't been an issue for anyone in my house, but my best friend had to switch flavors while she was pregnant, so I thought it was worth mentioning.
