AmRad USA2227 35 + 5 uf MFD 370 Volt VAC - Amrad Round Dual Run Capacitor Upgrade

Ordered this to replace a 24yr old cap in my AC that went bad. I ordered it because it was made in USA, and I figured the quality would be at least as good as the US made cap I removed. They have test results on the side of the unit that verify the capacitance (I checked, that label was dead on). It also has a separate circuit that runs through the capacitor for connecting a hard start kit, that will protect the motor from starting without the run capacitor...pretty cool!

I have been buying Chinese produced capacitors for years and they only last 2-3 years instead of a more expected 8 years. When my last one went out after a week, I decided to spend the few extra dollars and buy American. So far so good, time will tell.

Had a hard time finding this When my air conditioner went out on me. Saved the day in this hot Florida weather came quickly and was easy to install myself.

Great American made capacitor for my A/C unit. I love buying American. I looked up and read about this great company from Florida.

Local contractors have managed to make it impossible for me to buy this over the counter at the supply house, I would be forced to pay hundreds of dollars for a "service call" to one of those greedy contractors if I couldn't buy it here. In addition this part is top quality, Made in USA instead of the cheap imports that may not last a year. It's more than worth it to have a spare on hand too just in case of a lightning strike or hard power surge, got to have A/C when it feels like 100.
