Garmin PT10 Dog Device Red Collar (Pro 70/Pro 550)

Garmin makes great products and this is no different. We like being able to warn the pups about barking with the beep. Very easy to sync with the remote we already have. It's a bit pricey, but a Garmin bark collar alone is $130 so for a little bit more money this was worth it. We've never had an issue with range as long as the battery is charged. The battery also lasts very long so no concerns there.

My main reason for buying this product was to keep my dog from barking incessantly all day long. I have neighbors who work in hospitals and fire departments that sleep during the day. For anybody that thinks this is cruel in anyway consider the fact that without this my dog would have to sit inside in his kennel all day. Instead, he gets to run around the yard and play all he wants to. I like the fact that when you turn it off, it tells you how many times it stopped the barking. Almost like a tattletale lol I haven’t used the training yet but I’m sure as good as this is. It will be fine. The collar is thin and the piece will twist so I got a different collar. That’s wider. Added it as a collar for our second dog to use with our existing Garmin Sport Pro set. Linked up easily to the controller and works just the same as the original.

The Garmin Sport PRO system I bought had one remote unit and one rechargeable collar included. The system works great, has a vibration feature, a tone feature, a shock feature, an optional bark limiter and a light which shines on the ground in front of your dog. The light helps the dog to see in the dark and lets you know where they are. The remote has a switch to control up to four different collars. I recently got a second dog and bought this collar to add to the remote to control my second dog. The collar comes with it's own charger and pairs perfectly with the Sport PRO remote. Great as an add on for an additional dog, or as a replacement for a lost or damaged collar.

I definitely like that's it durable and efficient. My dog was very stubborn with his play bitting and with this system we were able to address it in a responsible manner.

This collar has a pretty good battery life. I purchased it as a replacement for one I’ve had for years. I had previously replaced the control and bought this collar separately. It paired easily with my Garmin Sport Pro control. It comes with the charger and an adapter. The instructions provided were of a different model but not a big concern.

I've got two Shepards, one German and one Australian. They are my personal alarm system with the Amazon driver comes to deliver packages. I use the PT10 with the Garmin Sport Pro hand held device. It was easy to program and the results were immediate. The battery life fits my needs. I use the collar for 12 - 14 hours and then charge it while I am at work. The two dogs still romp and play rough. The collars have stood up to some pretty healthy rompings.
