First, I ordered the same ramp as pictured, bi-fold, tan. The "carpeting" is actually rather like marine non-slip matting. It's nice and not too scratchy, but definitely gives good grip. The rubber "grippers" underneath don't look like much, but are surprisingly efficient. Although the ramp appears a bit narrow, it is actually fine. For reference, my dog is a 55lb mutt; she is very smart and a bit stubborn. I did as another suggested and let her investigate it while it was flat on the living room floor. She was very hesitant last night. Today, I set it up at the side slider door of my minivan. Using sliced hot dog as the motivating treat, and telling her "ramp" (and tapping on it with the hot dog slice), she eventually caught on and walked the ramp up. I'll add that I had her on a lead the whole time, so I could help guide her. Down the ramp was a harder trick, but she eventually decided it was ok & the hot dog was worth it. This whole process took us a total of 10 minutes and one hot dog. This ramp is solidly built. It would be nice if future models had some sort of handle (perhaps a nylon loop, riveted in?) but it's still quite manageable. I'm 5' tall & average weight for my size & find it easy to lift and unfold. I'm very pleased with this product!

I have a 65-70 pound German Shepherd and just wanted to save her elbows and hips from longterm injury getting into and out of my pickup truck, and also use it for my little low honda fit car. I've tried many types of ramps over the years and this is the best! It is all plastic so very lightweight. The surface material is a weird loopy material that is hard to describe but works GREAT for the dog. No slipping and seems comfortable for the dog - but the dog causes no scratching or damage to the material. The ramp is so small and lightweight, I can easily move it between vehicles as needed. It is not terribly long when unfolded and in use, but I have found lower places to attach the top end on my truck which leaves only a short hop beyond for the dog into my truck. Also, because the surface is so "grippy" and comfortable for the dog, you can use this in a steeper slope than other ramps. The upper end has a "bent" end, so it secures nicely to whatever you wedge it to (but I still put my foot on the bottom as the dog is using it just in case).

There's a lot to like about this ramp. We got it for our 60+# husky who is now sightless. I was somewhat concerned that it might not be long enough and too narrow. After reading a number of reviews, I felt comfortable enough to give it a try. I love that it is light and easily foldable/manageable. And it fits quite nicely in the door openings of our SUV and Pick-up. After a couple of trials with our pooch, he figured out what was going on, and now easily moves up and down the ramp without hesitation. We do need to guide him a bit, but that's easy. Use inside to get up and down from sofas is a snap, and that's where the shorter length is a big asset. Materials used are solid, and the construction is quite satisfactory. I like that the carpet is Velcro'ed onto the ramp for easy removal for cleaning/replacing. The non-skid rubber on each end of the ramp is rather inadequate, so we cemented some non-skid material across both ends ---and that works much better. While our husky has no problem with the ramp angle, some dogs -- particularly large breeds -- might find it a bit steep. Or, if loading from the rear of the vehicle, that would be very steep. The longer model would be a better selection.

I chose this ramp because of its price, size, and reviews. Some reviews mentioned that it does work with side doors, while others mentioned that it doesn't. I took a chance but unfortunately, it does not work for my car. It is relatively well made, though it is not as stable as I'd want it to be for my 75 pound dog. I tried to use it with my sofa, but I definitely have to hold it down and would be nervous about him climbing up and down unless someone was right next to him. As you can see from the photos, the doors of a Camry do not open enough for the ramp to fit. The width seemed to be fine for my dog (when using with the sofa). Owners of bigger dogs, beware: The box says it can hold dogs up to 200 pounds, but the instructions inside say it is fit for dogs only up to 150lbs. Disappointed and frustrated it is so difficult to find reasonably priced stairs or ramps for sedans, but others may find this suits their needs if they have an SUV or doors that open wider.

I love these ramps. I just purchased 3 of them to use for my two older Dashunds that are starting to show their age. The older one got it immediately and the other one is figuring it out with treats, another week and she’ll have it mastered! Now if I could just have it dispense the dog treats 🙃 They are light weight but there is enough weight that it doesn’t feel like they will just bounce off the step. I did put a rug on the floor at the bottom of the two ramps that are on the tile floor to make sure the ramps didn’t slip while the dogs were on them. I did not feel it was necessary to do that for the ramp that’s on the wood floor. I recommend getting the ramps with the SupertraX. The dogs have no problem on it and it makes it so the ramp is not slippery in the least. It removes easily for cleaning. I just got the ramps so I have not actually needed to clean them but I did take one off just to see how easily it went back on.

Das Produkt kam schnell an, der Karton in dem das Produkt geliefert wurde sah auch in Ordnung aus. Das Produkt sieht Qualitativ gut aus und nicht billig verarbeitet. Ich benutze es also Übergang für meine Terrasse da diese eine ca 30cm Erhöhung hat vom Boden Das Gewicht ist akzeptabel, sobald es aufgestellt ist bleibt es stabil in Position, kleine Kinder können es auch benutzen, also sehr stabil meiner Meinung nach, die Oberfläche ist Rutschfest und ich kann von meinem Produkt aus hier Zuhause aus ausgehen,dass es wirklich Rutschfest ist. Ich würde dieses Produkt jeder Person empfehlen die einen kleinen bis Mittelgroßen Hund haben.

I wanted safe exit and entry mechanism for my small dog whilst using Sureflap system and this Petgear ramp is perfect. It is light whilst delivering a solid platform for my dogs use. It is anti slip and my dog uses it with ease. It looks to be weather proof as all components are made of durable plastic. All together it’s a good look for a required safe entry and exit for my 7.5kg small dog.
