Very happy with the results
I bought this because this kind of light therapy was recommended on a dental website that was talking about dental implants where they drill the anchor screw into bone. Nerve damage can happen with dental implants. I had a traumatic extraction that left me with significant nerve damage. Nerves take a long long time to heal and psychologically it can be a rough journey. Since this kind of red-light therapy was recommended, I figured it was worth a try. I have been using it now three times a day for five days now. As far as pain goes, I don't use it for that reason, but I did notice that it reduced some of the bone pain that comes and goes. It doesn't work as well as medication and it doesn't last as long, but it definitely did help. I should also say that I used it for just two 1-minute cycles and the pain relief was just some relief for about an hour. Even the instructions state that it may take up to 3 weeks of regular treatment to notice a difference, and judgment should be withheld until after 3 weeks of use. I haven't had it that long, so I can't comment on the truthfulness of that statement. I also have significant arthritis in a finger that was made worse after trigger finger release surgery. I also plan on using it for this finger, but I have not done so yet. My dental issue far outweighs my finger right now. I should also mention that this was the only unit that had the light power that was recommended on the website for dental issues. I will have to do an update after I have been using it for at least the recommended 3 weeks. I can also say that when I use this unit, my nerves will slightly tingle, so I want to believe that there is benefit to using this. I'm dealing with a significant amount of numbness and feeling that tingling builds my confidence that the feeling in my lip and chin will return. So far, I am happy with this product. I would not purchase this for wrinkles and beauty benefits because the instructions state that it will not help for that. I suppose you could try it since I have seen so many YouTube videos about how it works for youthful appearing skin. I have my doubts, but I'm not using it for that anyway. I hope that when my nerve injury is healed, I will still be able to get my money's worth in using it for arthritis.UPDATE: It is now April 5th and I have been using Tendlite for 18 days, 2-3 times a day for 3 minutes each session. The first week I did not notice any change, but again, even the instructions state to wait until after using for 3 weeks before making any judgment. Today, I can say that the feeling is about 90% returned in my chin and 80% returned in my lower lip. I still have some numbness in my lower lip. The healthy tingling I used to get is still there in my lip but I'm getting more and more paresthesia (nerve pain) as the nerve heals, which my dentist says is normal and will resolve over time. The greatest pain is during and just after eating, but once I finish, the pain gradually subsides. I can press my lips together and get full sensation. In summary, for the first 3 weeks 2 days before using Tendlite, there was no change at all in the 100% numbness that I had from a traumatic dental extraction. After using Tendlite for 18 days, I am well on my well to healing with near full sensation back. The big issue now seems to be the relationship between the nerve and muscle movement. I will continue to use Tendlite because I firmly believe that it has helped with nerve damage. As I stated before, I got the recommendation from a very medical dental website that recommended near infrared light therapy with at least 660 nm light that Tendlite has. I was not able to do a comparison on another nerve because I only had damage on one side. But I am convinced that once I started using the red light, improvement came much faster than it probably would have. Considering that it usually takes several months to recover from nerve damage, I think I am ahead of the process with the help of Tendlite. I'm not a doctor or a dentist, I just know what I feel. I have used the unit after eating when the nerve was its most irritated and it did feel pretty good. That too helps me feel I'm better with it than without it.

I'm an RN (30+yrs) and chronic pain patient. IMHO it's worth 10x what I paid.
Update!!! It's been 5 mos. of using the Tendlite and I am still utterly delighted. After 2 decades of unbearable pain from parasthetic MS I finally have some serious no-drug relief. OK, When I bought it I was really skeptical, but desperate. After the DEA decided to toss legit patients in with opioid abusers I was left with the [anesthesiologist/'pain management'] doc shrugging me off. (These docs don't have much more than a few weeks extra 'training' and are totally unsympathetic based on my & other patients experience.) My pain felt like I was being cremated alive & had gotten to where I would've tried anything. My regular docs were understanding & sympathetic but were blocked from doing more than giving pysche drugs which not only didn't help much, the side effects were almost as bad as the pain & relief was minimal. All I could take was Tylenol (allergic to NSAIDS, plus long term daily use causes gastric erosion) which left me with ice packs to numb the nerves. (I got 1st deg. frostbite trying to get a few hours sleep.) I'd go 2-3 days without much sleep as Ambien [zolpidem] only bought me a few hours at best before pain jolted me awake. When I bought the Tendlite I would have bet I'd be sending it back as I fully expected it to fail. SURPRISE!! Two weeks after conscientiously using the light 3x on each area 3x a day [this is no time save a few minutes or cut corners] I woke up one morning to NO pain. Whoops? Did I suffer a stroke? My legs fall asleep? Nope. I had normal feeling in my lower legs & feet for the first time in 20 years! I kept up the 3x each spot 3x/day for another week then cut back to 2x /2x day. Now I do it just once a day and the pain isn't just better, it's GONE!Life's wonderful. It's joy! I am without any pain all day. I danced at my son's wedding! I sleep 6-10 hrs a night (no Ambien needed) and wake without screaming (literally). Yes, if I overdue exertion or skip treatments I get a minor relapse, but it's nowhere near the excruciating pain that had me in tears, unable to work or walk for days at a time. I simply up the number of treatments for a day or two & I'm back on track. This kit came with the stainless steel light (virtually indestructible), two batteries (1 to use, 1 to charge) the charger, the glasses & a very nice carrying case. Each battery runs several weeks before needing recharging so you're never without your Tendlite. I've added a rectangular piece of solid foam from which I'd cut out a half cylinder almost the length of the light so it didn't need to be held while it was on. I lay the light on the foam & can leave it there for all 3 re-lights. Then I just move the foam rest to the next spot & run it again. No holding the light, no staring at the laser.I bought a light for my sister with RSD & she said after 3 wks she hardly notices her ankle at all. My RN friend who has a debilitating bone disease got one for herself after I got such good results. She, too didn't expect any improvement but says she's gotten outstanding pain relief to where she doesn't need her prescribed Vicodon 7.5 at all. Four others have gotten a Tendlite for everything from arthritis to fibromyalgia to diabetic neuropathy. Two of my CCF docs say they've gotten all positive results for patients for whom they can't give drugs which delights everyone. As an RN (30 yrs exp, fmr trauma & cardio-thoracic specialist; Dir. of Nursing) I absolutely rate this device 5 stars and well worth every penny.
