The Black Elastic Eye Patch features a comfortable convex shape that promotes air circulation, ensuring the patch does not touch the eyelid or lashes, making it ideal for extended wear and eye recovery.

Simple, but effective.
The price fits the quality, and that's just fine for me. I'm right-eye dominant, but aim far better with my left hand, which means I needed my left eye to be the dominant one, since my darts were flying all over the dart board. Changing ocular dominance is relatively simple and only requires the suppression of vision in the dominant eye, which soon forces the other one to become the dominant one. Closing the eye to suppress it was not working at all and just wore out my eye muscles as I was having to pay attention to it constantly, so the patch does what I need it to and it does it without having the fabric flat against the eye, which would constantly rub against the eyelashes. The fabric one one side overlaps the fabric on the other side (seen in the pic), allowing an open slit to allow for a bit of breathability, although someone with a medical condition requiring that a patch be made to allow the eye to breathe well may want to find a more suitable patch. For those of us who need a simple solution to a simple 'problem', this works perfectly.

Black Elastic Eye Patch
This black elastic eye patch is lined on the inside with black paper. The paper is what holds the shape. It worked well for about an hour, until perspiration soaked the paper. Then the patch would not hold its shape plus a slit opened from the center to the top allowing light to get through. After a few minutes, the patch collapsed and became totally useless. I might note that I only walked from my house to my car, drove for a few minutes and walked into another building. I was not physically working other than walking. This patch may be OK in Alaska, but it is of NO USE in Texas!

Finely made, but takes getting used to, of course.
The customer that posted the photo here, that is not what I received. I received what the main photo shows. The patch is excellent and wears well once you get used to it. I mean, if you don't usually wear a patch, you have to adjust to it. I kept wearing it for short times at first and increased the time as I got used to it.But, so, if one of the persons reading this is the owner of this ad, the TITLE of the ad only shows a URL that stretches wayyy across the page. It does come to this page when you click on it, but you should really change the coding so it shows the title instead of the page URL.....(I'll keep watch and remove this paragraph if the title gets fixed, it's not just my account or computer, I've tried several names and computers)

it's okay.
I purchased this for my daughter so she could do her eye therapy because the bandages were irritating her skin. She did okay for a couple days but complains that slips and pokes her in the eye. It feels very flimsy and I was, and still am, kind of confused about which side I am supposed to use. The straps seem to be sewn on the wrong side. This has been okay for the moment but I think I will have to order something else and let my kids use this more as a prop instead. It was cheap so I am not too disappointed.

Perfect patch.
I received the eye patch really quickly. No problems whatsoever and it looks exactly as expected. It's a sturdy good quality eye patch but nothing amazing as in don't have extremely high expectations and you won't be disappointed. It is a totally satisfactory product. I like that it's curved to allow room for comfortable blinking and I had no issues with light coming in from any corners. The eye that was covered was 100% covered. As far as eye patches go, this one is actually pretty comfortable.

Black elastic eye patch
This product was purchased on Amazon since I had difficulty finding it at two of my local large drug stores. Amazon has everything! The eye patch is reasonably well made, was manufactured in China and certainly works fine for its intended purpose, protecting my eye after it is medicated and while it recovers from "dry eye syndrome."The first eye patch sent apparently was mislaid by USPS, so there was a delay in receiving the product. Upon notifying the seller, and expressing my urgent medical need for the product, they quickly shipped me a replacement, not only at no charge, but also credited my account for the original purchase price to compensate me for the delay. This speaks well for the seller.

Only Decent for Costumes
You get what you pay for with this eye patch. It's basically a piece of card stock in the shape of a shallow cone with some flexible textured plastic material barely glued to the outside (I suspect it will curl away and fall apart within a few months). It is made of very cheap material that does not fit properly, either over a small eye or a large one. Regardless of how it's worn, light will be able to get in around the bridge of one's nose. This can be very distracting and disorienting for some people. Also, the seam that runs from the center of the patch to the upper edge (you can see it in the product photos) is not closed in any way, it's actually an open gap where light can get in.This patch would be good for someone that needs it for a costume or for someone who has never owned one before and wants to give it a try for fun. It's cheap and easily modified. I would not recommend it for someone that has a medical condition or otherwise requires an eye patch for long-term wear. If you need an eye patch for more than a few days of wear, invest in a better eye patch.
