Fut Glove Men's 1 Up Five Toe Athletic Shoes

I'm an avid Vibram fivefingers fan and was really excited about a pair of casual knock-offs. I wear a 40 in most fivefingers. I followed people's advice and got (just in case) a full 2 sizes bigger than what I usually wear. The 42s seemed quite cute and decently made but were clearly too big. The 41s were also very cute in person and seemed to be close to the right size, for all of 10 min.Within a few minutes of having these on, it became clear that the fit is very different than that of Vibrams: the pinky toe is overly long as is the toe next to it. Overall, the toes are rather narrow. The quality control is the biggest issue with this company. My right shoe seemed ok but my left shoe dug into the areas between my toes in an extremely uncomfortable fashion. I had to take the shoes off within 15 min due to the toe discomfort and then noticed that the glue on the sole was already coming apart.Perhaps I've just had some bad luck with these shoes but I'm not going to go through another trial to see. Yes Vibrams are more expensive but they hold up great and don't have these types of quality control issues.

I ordered these shoes for my 13 year old son who loves his other "toe shoes", but has worn them out and needed a new pair for school.He's had them for a few days and said they are SO comfortable, plus they look cool with pants since they have shoe strings. I tried them on myself (yes, there comes a day where your itty bitty baby has feet as big as or bigger than yours!) and seriously thought about buying a pair for myself because they were so comfortable. The arch support is great, the craftsmanship is excellent. The leather is super soft and feels like it will be the type of leather that just gets softer as it gets older. The toes are well bonded to the rubber and the tread on the bottom of the shoe is rubber with little nubs, so it has good grip on all surfaces.These are sold as golf shoes, but they don't have the metal spikes on the bottom, so they can be worn anywhere that regular shoes can be worn. The best part is, because they are leather, they don't smell bad since he often wears this type of shoes without socks (yes, they sell "toe" socks, but they're way too expensive for a kid who leaves them out on the trampoline all winter).This is a better alternative to Vibrams and definitely better than Skeletoes (who apparently think humans only have four toes). Well made, comfortable, a look pretty cool (for toe shoes) on top of it all.

I've been a convert to the "weird toe-shoes" for about 2 years now. I remember thinking that it'd be great to find a pair that somewhat bridge the gap between the toe-shoes and more formal/casual shoes aesthetically. I even considered cannibalizing the soles from an old pair and attempting to cobble up my own lol. Lo-and-behold before I get the chance to do so I find these.They've been my daily shoes since arriving and they're holding up pretty well. The vinyl/pleather is starting to peel a bit from the edges of the toe, but not at an unreasonable rate considering their daily use/abuse.Despite my initial concerns they do ventilate pretty well considering their material and with a pair of toe-socks it's a non-issue.I purchased my size by the European metric as recommended and they fit like a glove (or maybe even like a foot-glove).If you're shopping for a pair of toe-shoes with a bit more of a traditional aesthetic these are those.

While Vibram's FiveFingers shoes are accurate European size, Fut Glove's shoe of the same size is far too small. Although there was no communication to indicate this, three weeks later I received a pair of the same shoes in a size larger than I normally wear.These fit perfect, and are comfortable as well. The soles are thicker than the FiveFingers shoes, better for walking in terrain rich in rocks or tree roots, although they are marketed as golf shoes. Despite the thicker sole, they give the same feel as the thinner shoes and look as though they will wear a long time.The only question is, how could I return the smaller pair?

Surprised by how comfortable these shoes are. I own Fila Skeletoes and Vibram Five Fingers. The Skeletoes are the absolute most comfortable Toe Shoes I wear. My Vibrams replicate a true barefoot experience, but these Fut Gloves fit right there in the middle! I know these Fut Glove 1UP shoes are supposed to be Golf Shoes, but I don't golf at all. I live in NYC and I walk everywhere. These shoes look great with a pair of black jeans and I could walk for hours and hours in them. Very glad to add these Fut Gloves to my collection of Casual Toe Shoes.

I purchased these shoes for my son as a Christmas present. So far he has been trying to stretch them out a bit as they were a little tight on his wide foot. They just barely fit in the wide area, but now the soles have started to come off. Since I'm not very happy with this news I'm sure he isn't very happy about them. Unfortunately I don't have the sales slip, I threw it away by accident, so I don't have the address to send them back.

I will start buy saying I have been waring Adidas adipure toe shoes for 10 years. I love my toe shoes. I have heal spurs and bunions on both feet. Normal shoes it huts to walk for more then 30 minutes. My Adidas toe shoes where not excepable at work any more so I decided to try the Fut glove. The quality so far is great the feel is great very comfortable for walking. I work security so I am on my feet long ours. The only thing that keeps me giving it 5 stars is that there is no loop to hold the toung in place. I don't ware socks so this makes the toung slide around and I had a small blister on the top of my foot. I bought a pair of socks and have no problems once I use the socks. The Fut glove has a thicker rubber rapped around the bottom with many rubber spikes or bumps. Because of this walking on hard surfaces are not as smooth as other toe shoes. I didn't think I would like it at first but after the second day I hardly noticed it. The size was perfect I am a size 10 I ordered the 44 which is 10-10 1/2 it fit just like my Adidas so the size to me is the same. I would recommend Fut glove which I do all day at work but if you are new to toe shoes I would start with a pair with a smooth bottom first.
