Great Entry Into KeyForge
KeyForge is a fantastic game. For less than $10 you can jump into this game and start playing. Dr. Garfield has done it again! And if you are on the fence about starting to play, then jump in with this set! When the original (Call of the Archons) starter came out, it was a little lackluster. For a 40 price point you got 2 random decks, 2 fixed (not tournament legal) decks, and tokens, etc. But it had issues for sure. First the two "teaching" decks were not really useful in general and raised the price point. And instead of power counters or stun tokens, these were cards! Not the best decision. But thankfully this AOA starter fixes all that! You get 2 random decks, and tokens for everything! The only 2 negatives against this starter are the key tokens are smaller (which some people might actually like better) and the chain tracker is still not great. While it is an improvement from the original, which was just a card and this one is thick cardboard card, it still isn't my favorite. It's too easy to accidentally knock where your marker is on the track. But still, putting that aside it's an excellent set. For about half of the price of the original starter you and a friend can join the wonderful world of Keyforge! Have fun!TLDR: Excellent starter. Improves on the original. Worth the money.

Great game.
This is the 1st edition of the game before it was bought by another company but the cards are backwards and fwd compatible. Inexpensive way to get the parts you need to play. If you visit the Wal-#### app or the E-auction app and search by price you can find a whole case of brand new boosters for 1st edition for like 25.

Much better starter set than original release
My teenagers LOVE Magic the Gathering, but it is expensive to keep up with new releases every three months. So when Richard Garfield designer was releasing this one, we got excited. We grabbed several Call of the Archons decks and learned how to play. This is a SOLID game!Yes, some decks work better for different playstyles but it is a solid 2-player game.We even did 4 and 5 player games with some suggested house-rules from Board Game Geek site. A bit long but it could work! Then this set came out and we love the game even more:+ No "same starter decks" as in every other package of Call of Archons, but two unique Age of Ascension decks. Felt like a draft even though each player got a deck and that was that.+ At least $10 less for this starter set than Call of the Archons. We were able to pick this up for $20, which we easily spent $10 per Call of the Archons decks. Thus even for $25 we get two unique decks and the extras.+ Two fold out playmats.Yes, they are paper and yes they will tear, but it is helpful to have the playmats to get everyone in the habit of having their decks and keys in the same spot for tracking purposes.+ Tokens! You get the stun, health and power tokens.+ Keys! The two sets of blue, yellow, red keys are a nice thick cardboard and should last a good long time.OVERALL:Much better value for the money than original starter set.The additional faction powers/mechanisms are a good addition too.Can still combine these with Call of the Archons decks and have a good old time.

Amazing Job!
The Package came in and looked like it was handled with care, but the product itself looked perfect. The box was unopened, the cards were untouched, and the description was 100% correct! Amazing Work!

Complete if basic
Product:Almost everything two people would need to get going but/and as cheap of fashion as possible. The game is fantastic, though there are some rules questions that I have (card interactions) that the rules included does not answer. Nothing that would make one walk away from the game, we just do not know how to play it as intended.Would have appreciated (even at a little bit of increased cost) something more than punch-out cardboard tokens. I get that its cheap, but boy-howdy, it feels cheap. Luckily 3rd party companies are making the markers, tokens, keys, ect. out of plastic and give a much better feel to the game. Replace cheap cardboard with plastic tokens, 5/5 easy.Game itself:Each deck has a unique, 1 of a kind, name (listed front and back) and design (back). The decks are complete, with no option to modify. This means that you can be competition ready with the deck you start with. A lack of standard resource economy does not hold this game back and does not feel imbalanced for it. Never has it been so easy to sign-up for tournament play as to scan a 2-D barcode with your decklist already on it. I've appreciate this as much as anything.

So colourful and fun
Keyforge is a blast for two players, it's so much fun and you need to use your brains to play the game so I like it so much

Fun stuff!
I was pleasantly surprised with this game. I wasn't sure about the art design or the mechanics, but the art has grown on me and there is plenty of strategy to keep your mind churning. The only downside that I foresee is that some decks can be more powerful than another. I plan too buy a few more decks (or several!) and have players choose decks blindly at random to mitigate that concern.

CARD QUALITY SO,SO
THE GAME IS SIMPLE ENOUGH, FUN TO PLAY. THE ONLY ISSUE IS THE QUALITY OF THE CARDS . AFTER 10- 12 PLAYS THERE WAS SIGNS OF WEAR ALONG THE EDGES OF THE CARDS . FOR THE PRICE OF THESE STARTER SETS & DECKS OF CARDS. THE QUALITY SHOULD BE MUCH BETTER. THEY NEED TO BE SLEEVED, WHICH ADDS TO THE COST OF THE GAME.
