They are about 3/4” long x 3/8” wide x 1/4” thick. I just bought another bottle last night locally and actually measured it for you. It is not a capsule, but like a big white vitamin. They don’t smell either like some vitamins do. Hope this helps.

Hello. Crustacean shellfish is not used in our formula. Furthermore, our ingredient suppliers have confirmed that none of the ingredients produced for use in this formula are derived from crustacean shellfish.

Q: How much calcium citrate & calcium carbonate is in it? calcium carbonate is difficult to absorb, do you have to eat first?

I have not taken either but have been researching for my 88year old mother. With calcium citrate there is 20-22% of actual calcium and calcium carbonate there is 40% actual calcium but you have to eat before taking .

Q: how many hours does it take to be absorbed. i need to know this so i can adjust my schedule so my other meds will not be affected.

I called the toll-free number on the bottle. I asked the person who answered what the half-life is. She had no idea what I was talking about. I tried to explain. After she put me on hold, she eventually came back to tell me that a pill takes 8 hours to dissolve. So, if it is a linear process, then, if one takes a pill at, say, 9 AM, it will have completely dissolved by 5 PM.
