Excellent device but gotta wait till 10-14-14 to unlock full potential.
Please do your homework if you are going to buy an imported PlayStation TV. I made a Japanese account for this device so that I can use it until the services is online here on the USA. Im downloading demos of games from the Japanese psn and playing them with a dual shock 4. Its amazing, vita games on a big screen! Muramasa rebirth looks gorgeous on this device. Although, I don't recommend that you import one because you might not be willing to put up with the barriers of an imported vita TV like I am. The real deal will be on October 14th when I can use me US PSN and download all my didigtal PSP games so I can experience them in big screen.

PS Vita tv Japan import
The PS Vita TV is a great little piece of hardware. It does exactly what it is supposed to do,......but!I should have done a little home work on the limitations of this device at this time. The Vita TV is a Japanese device, so it is locked to the Japanese PlayStation network, and requires a Japanese network account to use. (I did know this before I bought it.)What I didn't know is that the games that you can play on it is very limited. At this time some games are not allowed to work with it due to the lack of a touch screen on the PS 3 Dual shock controller. There is a set list of games that will work with it! All three Vita game cartridges that I have do not work with it. Even some PS Vita games downloaded on the Japanese PlayStation store do not work on it. There are a lot of Japanese role playing games that work if you can read Japanese, but most of the popular U.S. games do not work with it. These games might be allowed to work after the Dual shock 4 controller is patched to work with the Vita TV system, but nothing official that I have found has addressed this yet.Another feature touted for the device is the ability to stream PS4 games to another TV using the PS Vita tv, but that feature is not available on the device at this time. It is available on the handheld Vita model right now with the same firmware version, but the icon is missing on the PS Vita TV. This feature maybe added after the PS4 is released in Japan on February 22, 2014. The PS3 icon to remote play on this device is also missing.Hopefully this device will become available in Western countries soon, but right now just be aware of it's limited library and functions.Still an awsome device.

I like it
The unit arrived on time and well packaged.I like the system so far, But i don't have any better games to test it out but it will play any listed game for the Vita TV or supported game (Including US games), You will still need to use a Japanese PSN acount though because the newest system update won't tell you now. The only thing i don't like is the support for YouTube, & no Netflx related app.

Really good except…
So the product was in amazing shape and works nearly perfectly with one exception. It was beyond impossible to sync my controller to it. I ended up having to buy a new PS3 controller (i use PS4) and a new charging/data transfer cable just to snyc it. Beyond frustrating but what can ya do. Other than that i really do like it! I’ve heard that alot of PSTV’s are super picky with what they will snyc with and with what cables they will snyc with so keep that in mind when you purchase one.

Letdown
If you live outside Japan this is useless - completely useless, as it only allows access to the Japanese store. Even the ps4 remote TV function is not enabled as the ps4 is not launched there. I should have read about it first. The user interface is a scaled vita interface which looks pixelated and horrible on screen.

Love the console. Great potential but need enhancements
Great console, and nice build.Pro:- Remote play PS4 works.- Works with US PSN Account now.- Great price to play "some" vita games.Con:- Remote Play PS4 needs wired connection. With WiFi connection, the lag is just so bad that it's not playable.- Transferring game save files from Vita to Vita TV is painful. You need to sync to PC first, then sync back to the other Vita console. It should be made easier. I was hoping to be able to just sync save files directly from Vita to Vita TV.
