Life Changing. I have healed my lower back pain thanks to this book!
I stumbled upon him via Max Lugavere's podcast and ended up purchasing an Align Band and preordering this book.After reading this book, I put my bed on the floor. I took one of my couches out of my living room and replaced it with a bunch of floor pillows. I started working on the floor at work. I started squatting randomly throughout my day, and hanging from my pull-up bar a few minutes a day. After a week, my lower back pain disappeared. I am a bit sad that I didn't know this just 5 years ago as I started having back pain after giving birth to my kids.. but it's better late than never! At 36, I feel sooo much better than I did in my 20s. I've combined more movement throughout my day with also better sleep, nutrition, and meditation, and my quality life has exponentially improved. I also make sure to get out in nature each day and that makes such a difference in mood.HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I am much more mindful of how I move, and just how I go through life in general. I'm truly convinced.

A new manual for living correctly and consciously in our bodies.
The Align Method is filled with insights on the human animal, how we got to be the way we are, and plenty of tips on correcting or optimizing your posture, environment and mindset. Their are plenty of practical applications and activities that make this a valuable interactive handbook for better living if you jump in and participate. I enjoyed the casual style but thorough explanations of physiology, and found almost every question I’ve had about the body answered in this very palatable read. Top it off with some clean photo demonstrations of stretches, exercises and positions, a bevy of thought provoking quotes and just the right amount of conversation around each topic. Highly recommended!

Nice review of everything nice
This book is a very pleasing repackage of all the healthy physical mental habits a person would ever need. (With a welcome reprieve from diet)So you’ll get plenty on body alignment postures (maybe the most salient part I thought), nose breathing, good and playful movement, meditation, home arrangement, yoga-lite, decompression of joints (using the bands he also sells separately...ya)..and naturally a nod to Wim Hof (de riguer in today’s wellnesssphere). And that sort of stuff. Aummm.There’s nothing particularly wrong with anything here, it’s just I personally didn’t really need to buy this book (I was expecting a more coherent fitness regimen for my PT clients, alas not really)...there’s nothing really original on offer. (Well. OK...I hadn’t heard of Salt Lamps before, so there, something new.)If you have not studied many mind-body live well principles before, or want just enjoy a good review of, I guess Aaron’s book is a good a place to go.

A goldmine! Already bought several copies for friends.
Aaron did a phenomenal job with this book. It's jam-packed with practical information that you can start using immediately. Literally, after reading two chapters, I'm already feeling a major shift. Not many books can say that! If this book was $500 it would still be worth the money. Kudos Aaron, this book is world-class and is going to help a ton of people eliminate pain and start thriving!

Fun read with a ton of interesting studies and actionable insights
Breezed through the book in 3 days and enjoyed every bit of it. Can’t wait to keep up the movement assignments shared in the book. Aaron synthesized a ton of information in this book, and it’s one I’ll be recommending for anyone looking to learn about movement!

Great Book with LOTS...and lots of information.
Having listened to the author on podcasts and knowing he has the well wishes of Kelly Starrett, I thought this book would be definitely worth having in the library. I was right.The book is filled with tons and tons of useful information and practices to better the mind and body--something we and common modern living has corrupted. The author attempts to encourage and guide you to return to simple basics which benefit our bodies and minds greatly and can even undo the damage we have done to ourselves through modern "imprinting".While the book does have a wealth of information and instruction, I do feel that some chapters were overflowing with research, studies, opinions, etc, when they could have been expanded or simplified. The author even mentions multiple times that--to the effect off--the previous statement was a mouthful, and the like. For a beginner who has read few or nil similar books on biohacking, body and mind improvements, etc, it can be overwhelming. You really need to take the time to read each chapter thoroughly and ensure you have taken all the information in before proceeding.My recommendation therefore is to read the book focusing on only the information, and taking note of what pages contain the exercises and such. Then, once finished, go back through those pages to learn the exercises.I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate how the author does not just take credit whenever possible for the valuable information in the book. The author is constantly crediting and referring to other authors and experts, and their advices.This is definitely a book to have along side your other better health and biohacking books. The exercises in this book: do them, do them, do them. They will help. I regret not a day since I have started sleeping and sitting more on the floor, and daily hanging. The exercises and tips have benefited my body, especially my back, abundantly.A must read.

Aaron and his teachings provide us readers with the power to unwind the conventional and unnatural movement patterns in our everyday life, to look and feel better. This book is extremely comprehensive and is a collection of his life's work that provides glimpses into the key inspirations and highly accredited mentors that have enlightened him on his journey. This book is easily a top 5 book that anyone and everyone should have in their personal library.The Align Method identifies and clearly lays out the foundation of movement principles and their applications in our modern society. While this book is mainly focused on physical movement and alignment, it provides critical insights into other practical and connected areas. This "aligns" well with the underlying message as our health and wellness journeys need to be considered from a holistic perspective. Movement is a basic practise that the majority of humans have lost touch with, and this book helps bring much-needed awareness to this new reality and provides practical steps to regain this connection. In life, our actions are continuously compounded and the small purposeful changes taught in this book will have monumental impacts on our wellbeing for years and years to come.A highly valuable read that will undoubtedly change the way you live and view this playground of a world.

Brilliant reminder for the mind , body and spirit
I’ve truly enjoyed the way the different ideas for true alignment have been presented. It has served me to reassured some I’ve already incorporated into my daily routines and to learn new ways I’ll definitely be paying more attention too. I really recommend it!!! Thank you.
