The symptoms were evident. Fan struggling to turn but with some help it would move faster. All the model numbers are printed on the old capacitor. Easy order, price is good, and delivery is fast! But make every precaution when removing and replacing. Must ground out old unit so as not to get a lethal shock. Check out YouTube for safety procedures. Buying this I just saved $650 bucks!

When PCB's were taken off the market, it resulted in components that used them, to often not last as long. These caps will cost you about $60. from an AC repairman and possibly a few hundred dollars to install. I always kerp a spare on hand so I am not without AC when one dies. Every AC does not use the same cap value so you must order that for your model. Always turn off power, wait a few minutes and discharge caps before handling. These caps are used for running the outside fan and condensor/compressor. If fan stops immediately turn off AC to prevent fan motor burnout. That will cost you a whole lot more. The dual value caps usually use the 5 uf side for the fan and the other varies based on compressor/ condensor.

Purchased and installed myself and fixed my AC unit. Unit worked well the rest of the season.

It was a bust. The capacitor didn't work. I still have to go outside and turn the fan with a stick b4 the fans works. I will have to order another capacitor.
