Lee Kum Kee Mushroom Flavored Dark Soy Sauce, 16.9 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)

While talking with a friend about Pork Fried Rice I recently made, I was asked if I've ever tried Mushroom Flavored Soy Sauce. Had not even heard of it, but was anxious to try. It is exceptional and a whole new taste over the typical soy sauce. It's worth a try. You won't be disappointed!

Tasted great and gives stir frys a great color.

High sodium content, but great taste to allow for a quick splurge.

I have used two bottles of this particular brand and type of soy sauce cooking several pork and chicken dishes. I have also used it to create dipping sauces, and have found it combines nicely with mirin and/or vingar. It has a pleasant and unique umami/earthy flavor that distinguishes it from typical soy sauce. This is an extremely salty sauce with a high viscosity, so I use it sparingly. That being said, even a small amount, TSP to TBSP is enough to impart a significant amount of flavor to a dish.

Good stuff. Goes well in slow cooker pot roast.

First off, I will probably never order glass bottles food products again.Ordered this hard to get mushroom 🍄 oyster sauce thinking it was a money value deal. The entire box was leaking and the delivery person had to wrap in srinkwrap. The bottles were not wrapped singled and the glass friction probably caused the breakage.The smell was awful, color was super dark and the entire box was sticky. The return policy stated that all sales were final and I had zero connection to the seller.A total wasted buy.

This...this is the KEY to Saint Louis fried rice!! A little goes an incredibly long way!!
