I do a lot of work on the go and about a year ago, my 15yo laptop went down. I needed portability, and decent processing speed. This product is excellent at both. Working-wise it is like having my old computer back. I've been using an external keyboard and mouse for when typing speed and click speed is important, and it didn't have Microsoft Office pre-installed but I've been able to compensate well. Large games like Minecraft take a lot of battery power but that's normal with any device. I recommend using a USB external disk drive for installing software. It is everything it claimed to be. I'm very satisfied and haven't had any reason to complain or regret. It was all worth it!

I received my GPD MicroPC and loved it immediately. It didn't have Windows Defender Antivirus so I installed an App. It crashed to a attempting t restore loop. It took hours to remedy but I love my MicroPC just as much. I am missing a few drivers but I don't require them. It may not exactly be the future of tech but it is what I require now.Not exactly a cell phone but a cell phone isn't exactly a computer.

5-15-2020. After lots of communication back and forth the seller said instead of repairing this unit I can get a new Micro PC and return my defective one to a US address. I shipped it and once they received my unit they ship a brand new unit to me. I partially expected a refurbished unit and would have settled for that but getting a brand new unit was refreshing. Now that the issue of my first purchase has been resolved I still say this Micro PC is a great tool for my work. At the end of the day the seller made everything great with their customer service. I would buy something from this seller again, knowing their efforts to make things right.I originally loved this Micro PC but when my battery would not take a charge I contacted the manufacturer. I found out it is a problem with this computer, they offered to send me a battery and I could pay to have it installed. I contacted the seller, they said they would repair the unit for free under the year warranty which is great but I have to send it to Hong Kong. That postage is $77.00 in the smallest box, if I want to protect the computer in shipping then my cost goes to over $110.00. Buyer beware, if you have a problem with this computer, you will have to pay shipping to China.Below is my original reviewI needed a portable windows computer with a serial port to work on a specific piece of equipment. I used to have a laptop with a USB- Serial adapter but it was always awkward to hold and work on it much less having to protect / secure the laptop. I bought this computer and it actually fits in my back pocket! It has a serial port so no need with adapter and their issues. Now I just put it in my pocket walk to the many different locations in a casino. Open it and almost instantly Windows is up and running. In the first week it paid for itself. The screen is amazing for its size and has incredible zooming ability. The layout of keypad and mouse area is very comfortable. No touch screen but the way the mouse acts you don't miss the touch screen.

Terrible quality assurance. Ordered this and it wouldn't boot because it would not recognize there was an SSD installed. Could not exchange it through amazon so had to do a return. I shipped out the return and ordered another. The second unit has the same defect and so I have to return it again. Meanwhile Amazon cannot locate my return of the first one even though it says delivered when tracking. I really want this product to work, so I am going to try buying the cheapest version along with a separate good SSD. I'll swap it out and try installing windows on it. GPD also provides all the drivers and BIOS firmware on their website so fingers crossed it will work. Too bad I am out $1300 while they figure out the returns.

Couldn’t get much help from Marie or Frank (Marie’s supervisor) from Amazon. Asked for replacement, not refund, as computer was not working. Marie told me to call manufacturer, and gave me a non-working number. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she wouldn’t. Apparently, she is the only person working in customer service at Amazon. She kept asking me who I wanted to speak too. I asked for her supervisor and she asked me for his name??? I requested that customer voice recording be reviewed for quality improvement. Still haven’t received an answer. Maybe, next time I should record it myself for TikTok and YouTube quality improvement.

Everything ive asked of this little thing it's just done. I use it in data centers, IDF/MDFs and even in ceiling to comission devices & Triple boot win/linux/hackintosh... It does EVERYTHING.I drop it all the time and it doesn't care and NO MORE LOSING USB TO DB9 ADAPTORS!a built in DB9 serial port was quite literally what sold me on this.

Do not buy the 512gb. The computer has a 120gb drive spoofed as a 512. If you open the computer you can easily see the drive is labeled as smaller. Total scam. Rip off!

This a great thing to have, for me i like to use it for just some small things like watch videos, play games, and writing but that is a little hard to do but with the size of my hands compares to a regular keyboard, but if need to you can link up a bluetooth keyboard and mouse but i digress. The only thing i dont like is it has one port for the micro sd card and the screen wasnt touch but its alright it would be kinda tacky. I give it an 9 out of 10.
