These plants were shipped in tall boxes with wooden stakes for support. They are beautiful and healthy! Very happy!

Is this plant dead or alive?
I paid $30 for this puny little purple fountain grass. The glove is to show scale. It arrived very poorly packaged. It is been in the ground for about three weeks, and it looks exactly the same as when it arrived. I honestly don’t know if it is alive or dead. I plant purple fountain grass in this exact same location every year and always have great luck with them. Sadly, I have to order them online. The nurseries in my area don’t carry them. My window for return has closed… But just wanted to give a heads up

Great buy!
I had some reservations due to some of the claims that the plant was dead or looked dead but when the plant arrived it was in a solid well sealed box. I opened it and the base of the plant was well sealed in bubble wrap. The top of the plant was visible and smelled wonderful. I planted it right away and it looks really nice. Just hope it is here to stay!

Both were practically DOA
I've watered daily and put them in the ground. No sign of growth.....at all after 2 weeks. If they actually grow anything and aren't dead, I'll change from 2 stars to 3 stars. If they are actually dead, I'll change to 1 star. Either way, pretty disappointed with this purchase since I could have just split my larger Purple Fountain Grass clumps already in that bed with better results and saved the $80 dollars.Update: after six weeks one of the clumps has a single blade of grass. Other looks dead, changing to 1 star since I paid $80 bucks for these.
