It’s quiet and moves air
Solidly built and easily converts from push to pulling air. The fans are very quiet, ideal if you are using in a media or av cabinet.

Great look and controls but Noisy fans
Looks/fits fantastic but so damn noisy, I had to reverse the airflow (as recommended by AC INfinity but too noisyI replaced the fans with some from Noctua and am very happy now.

Great AV cabinet cooling!
I'm using this to cool my xbox series x which is inside a AV cabinet. The xbox is on it's side and has only 2inches of space on each side in the cabinet. Without it, my xbox would crash all the time. Damn it gets hot! This is mounted at the rear of the cabinet and is pulling air through the cabinet to the rear. This cools the xbox substantially. I leave this on low which, is all I need and on this setting its almost virtually silent. I connected it to the USB power adapter which comes with it and connected that to an Amazon smart plug. Which I have set to automatically turn on when the xbox is on through Home Assistant.Setting low = almost silent (have to be right up to it to hear)Setting medium = noticableSetting high = loudThis thing is amazing. Wish I had it sooner.

Easy install, reduced temperatures and noise!
Just got the AC Infinity AIRPLATE T7 w/ Thermostat Control with an AIRPLATE S9 (one for inlet, the other outlet). Used them to convert a closet into a ventilated computer server closet (I was forced to leave the door open all the time and even then it still got to hot). I decided to go this route instead of the hundreds for a 19" rack because in the end it will still be an eyesore to look at and noisy! It's cooling the 3 machines without any problem which run at 100% CPU load 100% of the time. They come in black only so I decided to paint them white to match the door. The design of the system is very simple and very effective.Pros:* Easy install, pre-cut plastic templates included, about 2 hours for all 3 combined (took my time).* Simple cabling design, only 1 power source, daisy chainable should I want to add more.* Solid build quality, look good and they make it easy to replace/upgrade fans.* Noise reduction, no longer have to leave the door open, sure you can still hear noise but much less.Cons:* Included manual is actually really good, however it does miss how to change the brightness level. This is literally the only thing I can find to "complain" about and the answer was only a search away.* Probably a bit on the expensive side, but considering it just works, doesn't phone home and I doubt they sell millions of them (though they should) I'm not complaining. All in all, for me, it turned out to be one of those feel good projects because every thing worked as expected, no hiccups, and a really nice outcome. Rarely will I write a review let alone take pictures, but here you have it. The before (door open), black (factory) and finally in white. Not sure why amazon is flipping the pictures sideways?Updated: I tried to contact support for a simple question about voltages and switching fans and never got a response, however they had no problem asking for me to give another positive review. So I wouldn't say I'm mad, but certainly not happy with their support. At any rate allow me to do their job for them. You CAN upgrade to regular PC fans (standard 120mm) but note that USB power is only 5v and the supplied wall adapter is only 6.5V so your fans wont spin fast. However my question was if it was OK to use a 12v supply. So I took a gamble and have been using a 12v 2a adapter just fine for a couple weeks. I did try a 13v but that was to much and caused the control unit to flash on and off (no good). I did also have to turn down the brightness on the control unit because it was way to bright @ 12v. Anyway, good luck folks, I really like these things!

Only One Direction of Airflow Not Ideal. There Should be Two Outflow and Inflow to cabinet
I have two of this items. They are good fans. But I would have preferred that it comes with option of two airflow directions. One blowing into a cabinet and one sucking it out of the cabinet. It took me about 30 -60 min to reverse the flow direction. This could easily have been done using a switch or simply hard wiring during the assembly and labeling it properly. Please vote this feature request up if you think this is needed. Thanks. Ric

Promotes great air movement and protects your entertainment components
The entertainment stand I have does bot have a lot of air flow and I am not a fan of open glass stands. The wooden fireplace entertainment stand I have needed options, so the search began. There are a few option out there. I quickly decided fans would be needed to “pull” warm/hot air out versus pushing cool/cold air in the stand. Seeing how the stand I have had completely closed rear section I would need to either mount fans on the side of the stand or behind ) back plate of the stand.Due to the depth of my receiver, it would not sit flush to the front. (AVR would protrude out of the front substantially. I needed to cut the rear section of my stand to allow my AVR to sit flush on the front. I trimmed out a section of the rear of my stand. I did it a little bigger as the AVR I will be upgrading later is taller. Now this extra space allows flush alignment of my components and better access to speaker connections and HDMI’s.With the large opening in the front of my stand. I decided to go with placement of the fans to the rear. This will allow for better airflow. These fans came with template that I used. It was very accurate. Once cut the fans slid right in. Secured the fans and connection for power was easy. Not wanting to take a chance, I went the manual fans and had four settings off, low, medium, high.Prior to the fans after one hours of use, you can feel the heat the AVR was giving off. By three hours, the heat would be concerning. After the fans installation, I can watch tv/movies/games through my receiver all day and not be concern with heat.Vibration of the fan is nonexistent and the fan motors are super quiet. If you turn on just the fans, nothing else on, you can barely hear it on medium. On high, the fans sounds similar to an HP fans on a laptop. Obviously with your AVR running audio you are guaranteed to not hear the fans running. For the cost, the value is there!
