New Zealand Strike Indicator Wool

I've used NZ Strike Indicators for years, they're all I use. The indicators are very light, don't create a "hinge point" in your leader while casting, and are econiomical. Still, the cost of this packet of wool seems extreme, especially when you consider how little you get. A fair price would be around $4. The only reason I don't shop around for other sources of raw wool is because a packet last me a long time.

I've been using this strike indicator while fly fishing for trout with nymphs in small streams and in small lakes. It causes the least distraction on the water surface compared to other strike indicators. It is also very easy to change when needed. The color selections green, white and orange make this a highly adaptable strike indicator. I'm very pleased with its ease of use and flexibility to various fishing conditions.

Solid replacement for the wool that comes in the initial pack with the tubing and indicator tool. Love this indicator system more than any other I’ve tried.

first bought the entire system last year after seeing a video by Tightline productions out of New Jersey. The person doing the applicationto the line made it look very easy. I have not used it enough to have it be "easy"! But I'm not saying it doesn't work, just that I'm not verygood a applying yet. But will keep trying!! Trout season starts in a couple of weeks!!!

This wool is beyond excellent for Chubby Chernobyl and other indicator dry flies like PMX, Hippie Stompers.

Very nice material for strike indicators. Beautiful stuff. It works super well with a little floatant. And it's crammed in there so there is a lot of it! Probably last quite a few years.
