Woodnote Translucent Pink/Ivory 8 Holes Soprano Recorder Flute

The joints of the instrument were loose making it difficult to play.

I'm an amateur, but not a novice -- I've been playing for about 6 years, and I have two good Mollenhauers, a Yamaha Ecodear, and a bunch of other plastic Yamahas, plus two other Woodnotes. I've always loved my Woodnotes!!! They are responsive, nice voice, do well on high notes. They're by far my favorite among the entry-level plastics. I bought this mainly because of the color. I enjoy playing outdoors and like to carry a plastic with me when I go hiking. I'm amazed at this little pink recorder -- even with no curved windway, it's got a great sound. Maybe not quite there with the Ecodear, but I much prefer it to the beginner Yamahas. I highly recommend!

I bought this recorder in hopes of teaching my two young daughters and myself how to play. I am a novice and as such, I love this recorder. I love the fact that it is a two tone instrument. The ivory and pink is a great color combination. It plays well to my ears and I have no trouble with the handling of it.

My granddaughter is playing great tunes on her new recorder. MUSIC inspires learning! ;) Quality of item is great!
