I caught this set (72 set) on sale so decided to give them a try. Nice range of colors. The pencils do not have a number or name on them which is frustrating. They also do not hold a sharp point very long, they are very soft. However, for $18.95 they were worth the price....I've paid more for worse in the past. Good pencils for beginners and children.

I’m a absolute beginner so I’m playing around with coloring. However, the pencils do not identify their colors so I don’t know what I’m using.

I love love love colored pencils. And I really enjoy most Staedler products. I got these pencils because I bought a set of tinted watercolor pencils h really liked them. But these pencils are just terrible. I own a LOT of colored pencils. From Prismacolor to Crayola. These are by far the worst of them all. First of all, they don't have any numbers or color names. Next is the issue with the scratchiness of the pencils. I couldn't even swatch them out because they kept gouging the paper I was using. Because of this, they are extremely difficult to blend together. The tips break very easily as well. Don't waste your money. Even the Amazon Basic colors are better than these.

Not sure what they are made from but from the start it feels strange. Call me old fashioned but I like wood pencils. I find these harder to sharpen and they don't hold a point. The colors are very dull or light unless you really press down when coloring, layering helps with the color but not that much. Blending.... sort of okay. I can't afford the really nice coloring pencils like prima's etc. so always searching for something that is mid-priced with good results. This was a failure in my opinion.

The box of pencils had been dropped before it was packed to send. The shipping box was fine. Broken and missing pencils, HAIR and dirt inside the box. A very nasty package to receive. I was horrified to find that inside the box. Unsanitary! Disappointing.

Buntstifte wurden zu Weihnachten verschenkt. Der Beschenkte war total begeistert! Die Farbpalette ist überwältigend! Ich kann die Stifte nur weiter empfehlen.

Es una caja metálica ideal para mantener ordenadas las pinturas. Son lápices de calidad, la punta no se rompe facilmente y hay muchos tonos de cada color. Me ha encantado.

Wide range of colours and conveniently stacked in the tin box. At a first glance when I opened the box it seemed like I missed 2 pencils. However, after reordering them and counting it came to 72. Some colours are vibrant and opaque but most of them are more on the pale side. For me it’s fine, I went for quantity over quality. The shipping was also extremely fast, so I’m very grateful. I would have liked if the pencils had numbers and a paper with boxes to colour them. This pencil box is great if you’re an amateur and beginner like me and want to colour some now and then. If you’re more advanced or prefer better quality, I would skip these.
