Palais Glassware Glass Liquid Measuring Cup - Up to 4 Cups (Antique Blush)

I had this same measuring cup before and liked that the numbers won’t wear off, but after a year it cracked due to temperature changes. I couldn’t locate any better 4-cup measuring cup so bought it again. This one cracked within a month and not due to temperature changes. Plus it’s still awful at pouring - liquid pours all over the place, dripping all over the counter. Won’t buy it again.

I love the size of this measuring cup and I like that the measurements won't wash off. However, there is a serious design flaw with this particular measuring cup. The spout is not pronounced enough to pour the measured contents into a bowl. Some of the liquid goes into your bowl and some spills unto the counter. What good is a measuring cup when you can't get ALL of the contents of the measuring cup into your bowl? The purpose of measuring is defeated. This product looks good but is not functional. If you are concerned about measuring your liquids, do NOT purchase.

Difficult to adequately review because it is the only one that doesn’t have painted measurements which is what I wanted, but the measurements are not easy to read. The measurements are molded into the glass (this is not the problem).The problem is that the increments are NOT read above or below one another around the entire object but rather in a step wise fashion. It would be easier to use: if 4 oz (half cup) was at the bottom with a molded line indicating this then higher up 8 oz with another molded line. The staircase version is difficult to follow.

If filled more than halfway, this measuring cup makes a mess when pouring. It dribbles down the side, completely missing the target. I tried several different "speeds", since I own other measuring cups that need to be poured very slowly at first so I know the drill. But alas, slow or fast, this thing is a train wreck. Can't recommend. Had high hopes since it seems like one of the only lead-free measuring cup options out there. :(

My first purchase arrived broken. Replacement sent promptly. However, although it looks perfect, the spout is difficult to pour from. I have yet to use without spilling liquid all over my countertop.

I bought this after my older Pyrex and Anchor measuring cups had faded paint from years of being through the dishwasher making it difficult to have accurate measurements. This one with glass indents for measuring makes it impossible to miss the mark. I highly recommend.

I am happy with this measuring cup. For me this tool sits out with my pour over coffee beaker and burr grinder. Aesthetically pleasing for me and functional for my needs.

Only glass one on market where the markings don't come off after time. So glad to find this one when my other one was broken!
