Mold release is required on some molds to release the cured casting. It is strongly recommended for all polypropylene and rubber molds so your castings pop out of the molds every time. Keep your molds in good condition by using CASTIN CRAFT MOLD RELEASE AND CONDITIONER to clean and extend the life of the molds. A little goes a long way! Want to use your molds over and over again? Use Castin Craft MOLD RELEASE AND CONDITIONER for easy mold release. Review: This works! - This worked amazingly! I used this on a PLA mold with UV resin and it did exactly what it was supposed to, the cast popped out with ease. I've used other release agents that didn't work with this process, so I'm very glad I bought this one! Review: Will buy again! - Perfect for hobby resin casting! Mold breaks away easy and comes out with a professional quality surface!

Craft Mold Release Spray
Seems to work better if you can follow directions which are to allow the first coat to dry - takes about 5 minutes - then spray another and let it dry. The only potential problem with this method is that I noticed that where the spray would pool, in the point of a pyramid mold for example, the very tip of the cast looked scratched and I'm not sure if that is the spray's residue that collected there and became part of the mold or if that was one of the crystal points I put in the tip of the mold, but I happened twice. I would be careful not to allow it to pool as you may end up with an undesirable surface on the cast.

Worked Great!
Just follow the directions--no problems, worked extremely well, and it was cheaper than the local craft store's version.

It's OK
I found it works best with lower qualityor thinner molds. Thicker, higher quilt molds seem to just soak it up and the relieving bubbles is impossible, resulting in holes in the resin peices. I followed the directions to a T and various application methods besides just shaking and spraying, and when I don't use it I have none of the problems previously mentioned. Great as a mold conditioner though

Works great
This works really well. As a first time user, it would've been helpful to know whether to leave spray as is when applying, or whether to wipe molds down
